March 20, 1998

• As the Knight Fergor engages the Angmarim Caldin in the Bree post office, the room grows dark. A scream is heard, a short laugh, and the darkness departs, leaving behind Caldin's corpse.

March 26, 1998

• An unknown Angmarim assaults the lone Calian Fanatica. She is worsted and is near death when darkness surrounds her and voices tell her that she has nothing to fear. The darkness lifts and reveals two creatures of the night gloating over the corpse of the Angmarim.

April 11, 1998

• Jooli has been expelled from the Kahedan order, following repeated and severe violations of guild rules. Those of you who have been victims of senseless attacks by the likes of Jooli and Hades might want to mail the Kahedan council a note of thanks.

April 14, 1998

• Lady Tianar has been punished by the Conclave for the choices she made during the most recent raid on the Angmar guildhouse.

April 18, 1998

• The rangers who accompanied Lady Tianar in her attack inside the Angmar guildhouse are punished by their company Captain.

April 22, 1998

• Due to another request from a Gladiator who wishes to announce his neutrality in the war (Ardent), I am recommending that those who do not belong to guilds directly involved in the conflict be presumed neutral unless they prove otherwise. Any who wish to be exceptions to this policy and announce their non-neutrality are welcome to notify us, and we will post the names of those who wish to join one side of the war or the other.

• The monk Hades becomes the banished monk Hades, as a result of his attacks in violation of Kahedan player fighting rules. Presumably his punishment was mild because none of the attacks were successful.

May 16, 1998

• Rumours persist that wizard actions will bring an end to the war. True or not, perhaps feelings of futility are at least partially responsible for the plummeting casualty rate.

June 11, 1998

• Lord Bayerd Brightblade has announced that he is retiring as Grandmaster of the Knights of Solamnia.

June 17, 1998

• Eriandel (see "Deaths" entry for May 26-27) is expelled from the Shadow Union and executed for conduct unbecoming a shadow warrior.
