TITAN SPORTS REPORTER (2/19/05, 7:12pm) -- Poms
After taking 7th place at the National Dance Championships, the Glenbrook South Titan Poms wrapped up a state title on Saturday at the UDA/IL State Dance championships at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. The Titan varsity squad competed in the high kick category and won the title with their dance number "Come Fly With Me!" The Titans were also awarded a first place award in the best costume category for their flight attendant outfit. The JV squad took home first place in high kick. Special thanks to Mary Jo Novak, mother of Titan Pom Jill Novak, for providing Titan Sports with this news. Titan Sports congratulates the GBS Poms for their state championship!

TITAN SPORTS REPORTER (2/7/2005, 6:15pm) -- Poms
The Glenbrook South Titan Poms took seventh place at the 2005 National Dance Championships held in Florida on Sunday. In the category of Varsity High Kick, the team place 8th in the prelims to advance to the finals where they took home seventh. GBS was the only school from Illinois to make it to the finals. West Fargo High School (North Dakota) took home the championship.
