Legacy Policies TKO Legacy is interested in providing a professional dynasty fantasy football experience. The franchise is the most important feature of the league, even more important than the managers. The policies of Legacy are designed to protect and aid the franchise and insure that it has full opportunity to succeed year after year. |
Quick Overview: - Owners are always referred to as Managers or GMs, because the league owns all teams. Teams are referred to as franchises or clubs. - A start up auction will be held in August 2005. Each following year there will be Rookie Auctions. -This is a contract / dynasty league. You will keep your team year after year with new players added from FA and rookie auctions. -There is a 30-man roster, but following the Start-Up auction, managers do not have to maintain all 30 spots. -$200M will be given each franchise at the beginning of each season. Any unspent money carries over to the next year. -Two Champions will be awarded each season, Superbowl Champion and Points Champion. - Each franchise has "farmed" players that can ride the bench without contracts as they develop. - Managers receive salary cap bonuses for succeeding and fines for breaking the rules. - Clubs can purchases players directly from other clubs. - Each player is signed to a contract to play for a certain number of years by the manager before returning to Free Agency. - Each franchise has a stadium with a generic name but when the franchise wins a championship the manager can dedicate & rename it. - A Pre-Season meeting will be held to cover these policies in depth to make sure all managers fully understand how everything works. - Before Rookie auctions, a free draft round will take place giving the last place clubs first chance at rookie players. |
