I am a big Cincinnati Reds fan and I am currently working on completing some Reds team sets from the 1970s. If you can help fill out either of these sets, please let me know. I have completed my 1971, 1973, 1974, 1977 and 1979 sets.I also have a neat selection of autographed cards I have picked up through the years. Check those out and let me know what you think. I am proud to report that I have never paid for any of those autographs. I am morally opposed to paying for someone's signature. If someone has attained a level of celebrity in which other people would consider it an honor to have their autograph, it is my firm belief that the celebrity should not profit from this exercise. Now, if a celebrity were to charge for his/her autograph and then donate the proceeds to a charity or something like that, then that's different.
I am currently working on putting together a complete 1971 Topps set as well as other miscellaneous sets, like 1977 and 1979 Topps and 1992 Topps Gold Winners). I need about 100 more 1971 cards so far and am picking up more regularly, either at card shows, from EBAY or from trades with other collectors.
