What can be funner than an evening at the ballpark, surrounded by family and friends? Well, I can think of a lot of things, but that's not really the point. I have declared Saturday, June 28, 2003, to be the third annual FOTAM (Friends of Todd A. McGee) Day at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Chances are, if you are reading this, then you are a FOTAM (whether you want to be or not!).

If you missed last year's event, stop kicking yourself and start planning for this year's soiree! This promises to be THE social event of the season for the Triangle's upper crust. Don't miss out on this chance to be in with the in-crowd!

I'd like to get as big a crowd as possible together to go see the Bulls play the Pawtucket Red Sox (for you scoring at home, they are the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, which means if we are lucky, Nomar Garciaparra or Pedro Martinez or Manny Ramirez will be rehabbing an injury when the squad comes to town!). The game begins at 7 p.m. Once again, for the third year in a row, FOTAM Day coincides with the Famous Chicken's trek to Durham. Fun for the entire family.

The point is not to see a ballgame, but rather to enjoy a relaxing night out in the company of friends and family. What better way to enjoy America's pastime?
