| I am a Nor Cal girl, born and raised in Northern California. I just graduated high school and am going off to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. There I'm majoring in Graphic Communication with a possible minor in Japanese. I dream of doing a third year abroad in Japan, but that is still up in the air. When I get out of college, I want to work at Viz Communications in San Francisco. I love music and would probably die without it. My favorite types are anime(ok, so that's not a type...), orchestral(Frank Techelli's Vesuvius and a lot of Yoko Kanno), and whatever I can sing to on the radio. My favorite groups are the Seatbelts(Japanese), the Pillows(also Japanese), and the Goo Goo Dolls(not so Japanese). I love to sing, just not so much around other people becuase I'm not a very good singer... but I do it all the time while on the computer and in the car. I can play a few instruments, the piano, the baritone(but mahhhnnn, I suck), and my favorite, anything percussion. My favorite percussion instrument is the Xylophone(mallet percussion is my specialty). I played percussion is school bands from 7th grade to 12th and took percussion lessons from 6th to 12th. My favorite subjects in school are art and history, especially ancient history. If you ever read this, thank-you Mrs. Slasor(my art teacher), you were such a great help and great influence for me! |

| I love Anime... so much, you can't understand. Maybe you can.... Well, I'm an Anime PSYCHO. Totally. My life basically revolves around it.... okay, not really... it revolves around Ensuing.... ^_^, Well on to the real truth... My favorite anime titles are Flame of Recca, Generator Gawl, DNAngel(see side picture! <-), Naruto, FLCL, Trigun, Inu-Yasha, and Cowboy Bebop. There are probably more, but I just can't think of them at the moment. I read just about any manga I can get my hands on, but currently my favorites are Shaman King, DNAngel, and Saiyuki. I may have to take it almost totally over when Melissa goes to college because she will not have a scanner or a tablet. -_- Oh well, she'll help with storylines. Yay! Back to sensible rambling... I love fantasy manga and have always wanted to create one, so that's where Xyia comes in(although I did not create Xyia by myself). |
