3D Killer____No Way Out____Fake Alarm____Unexpected Gift____Hard Virus

Kent is walking with Belsona on the street

"Is there any clue so far?" Belsona asked. She's his girlfriend, a psychologist working in a Child Hospital as a doctor.

"Nothing." Kent was working for a local press as a free-lance journalist, recently working on a serial freeway accident. He was holding a sheet of statistical data in hand.

Parts of annual survey conducted by DMV, the data indicated that freeway accident was rising astonishly in LA in the past three years, and most of those involved were juveniles.

"These kids had perfect test records, never ever had any kind of accident or violation, even they themselves did not know why, most said they wouldn't believe they really hit a car or something."

"Could be gangsters?"

"LAPD said it's very unlikely. They have different backgrounds, from different places, good school records and never knew each other before, the only thing they share in common is that they are all around seventeen and newly got the license. I'd talked with them, nice kids"

"You said there was another survey?"

"About the victims, most were also juveniles and the number are increasing, drivers said those kids straightly went into the car, as if they wanted to die, but there was no sign of suicide, no will, no motivation. Those who survived said they did not know how come they were hit by a car..."

"Is there any psychological problem?" Belsona asked

"No, no. No psycho problem, no vision problem"

"Me, too." Belsona began to talk about things happened in her hospital: " Those babies are cute and good, but parents keep saying that their babies just walk into tables or something, I cannot find any psychological problem and there is no vision defect"

"Kids, all happen to kids, what the hell is going on here?!" Ken said, deeply annoyed

A car rushed by suddenly, Kent kept walking indifferently, he would almost go into the car if not Belsona pulled him back.

"All right, all right, I think you are overwhelmed by it. It's my holiday today, let's forget it and just have fun!" Belsona pulled Kent into a video game club, you can always find such a auto-club nearby in LA these days.

Kent'd been addicted to the virtual reality thing and it helped him to relax

"I'll bit you this time" Belsona said, trying to fit the gloves into her hands. She always lost the last chance to win.

"Dreamerrr" Kent picked up the helmet.

They then stood face to face, what they saw was a warrior with ancient weapon in hand. Kent always found Belsona graceful in ancient fashion.

"Hiii!" Belsona started the fight by piecing into Kent's throat, while Kent sunk his sword into the victim's chest..

Both did their best to kill while the only thing being hurt was the image generated by computer.

Belsona soon lost her weapon, struggling with hands only. She suddenly punch Kent on the face, Kent was seriously injured and die on the ground.

Belsona was so unexpectedly excited: "I won!"

Without a word, Kent suddenly punch Belsona on the face. Belsona did not even blink her eye :"You don't...

Kent smiled gladly, he was very satisfied by Belsona's response

"I got it!"

Belsona looked at him strangely, wondering what's wrong with him

"Tell me, why not try to avoid my fist?"

"You...." she did not know what to say.

"You suppose it's just the computer image, right?"

"Humm.." Belsona was still confused."

"Oh, I see." She was quick enough. "Those babies began to play with 3D video game before they actually obtain stereo experience, don't realize the difference between real and virtual world, believing those objects like tables were only images in video game, so..."

"That's my girl" Kent ticked at her

"Then what happened to those kids in car accident?" She still had question

"They were very good at different kinds of car-race games, which enabled them to pass the road test very easily, but they often confused the car on the freeway with the car in video games, don't really care if there's a crash, assuming nothing be really hurt."

"And those kids were hit because they believe they won't be hurt when cross the road." Belsona added.

Kent took a look at his watch, he wanted to finish his report in no time.

His article appeared on Evening Gazette and the title was "3D Killer"

Three days later, a new law was implemented, saying that all means of 3D video game were banned before a feasible solution be found.
