5:45 in the morning on Sunday. Tsukasa is up doing morning exercises at her brothers' place.

Masashi, with his pajamas on: "Shut up! Do you know what time it is?"

Tsukasa: "Do you want to join me?"

Masashi: "No!"

His father comes out of all of the sudden and hands Masashi over to Tsukasa: "Please take him."

Tsukasa carries him over her shoulder.

Masashi: "Dad! No! I don't want to!" His father ignores him, thinking it'll be good for him since he doesn't get much physical activity.

An hour or so later, Masashi is lecturing to Taku, complaining about the fact that Taku didn't raise Tsukasa normally. Apparently, he was also forced to go running too.

Masashi: "He's seven years older than me and he's still like that? Doesn't he ever slow down and take a break?" [He doesn't know Tsukasa's female.]

Taku looks like a child being scolded and can't think of anything to say. Toshi and Sho are listening in, but are also watching Tsukasa.

Toshi: "She's always hyped with tension, but today, something's different."

Sho: "Like she's trying to show that she's happy when she isn't..."

"Was it that much of a shock? Whatever Sandaime did..."

Tsukasa is helping with the chores. Kaya finds this unusual.

Kaya: "Tsukasa..." She looks upset.

Tsukasa: "N?"

Kaya: "Don't stop..."

Tsukasa: "What?"

Kaya: "Being Ryuji's friend."

Tsukasa: "That's kind of hard... How can I stop being his friend when he doesn't even see me as a friend?" {I can't do anything about it...}

Kaya starts to argue that, but Tsukasa starts bashing her head on the counter. Kaya freaks out big time.

Tsukasa: "Let's drop the subject Kaya-san. When I think about him it makes me depressed!! I'm not going to think about Ryuji for awhile." She starts slapping herself in the face as she walks away. Kaya doesn't know what to say.

At Ryuji's place.

Kamo-san: "Sandaime, this... it was found by the north fountain." He holds out Tsukasa's school bag.

Ryuji: "So that's how she gets in and out. What a..."

Kamo-san, looking worried: "Sandaime, shouldn't you talk to Tsukasa-san about what's happening now? She's probably really mad."

Ryuji: "Why?"

Kamo-san: "Why? Well Tsukasa-san isn't good at swimming right? And that Tsukasa-san risked her life to come up that pipe... She went that far because she was worried, and to be sent home like that..." [Picture of Tsukasa pulling herself up a pipe using her chain. Kind of like a fish that goes up stream to lay eggs...]

The scene of what Ryuji said to Tsukasa replays in his mind.

Bun-san comes in all of the sudden, announcing that Shibata has showed up. Shibata apologizes for Azumi's behaviour.

Shibata: "I'm sorry that my daughter has arrived suddenly without warning. I don't know how to begin to apologize for this. Azumi! What's with you, without even telling me..."

Azumi: "But I wanted to see Sandaime."

Shibata: "It seems that when you came to our place (the Gold Dragon clan), she fell in love with you at first sight. Ha ha ha ha...."

Ryuji isn't smiling.

Shibata: "I'll take Azumi home right away..."

Azumi: "No! I'm not going home! That's okay isn't it Sandaime? If you didn't want me here then you would have sent me home last night right?"

Ryuji:" ..... Do what you want." Azumi smiles slyly.

Ryuji suddenly asks about business. He's wondering why Kasagi Company suddenly cancelled their celebration for the opening of their new branch.

Shibata: "... Why do you ask me?..."

Ryuji, looking him in the eye: "No reason."

Shibata gives him money. It's a sign of loyalty towards the kumicho.

Shibata: "I believe that someday you'll answer to my request...."

Ryuji: "I'll think about it."

Azumi and Shibata leave the room. Kamo-san doesn't look impressed.

Kamo-san: "'Promote me to head clan.' Is that what he's saying?"

Ryuji says nothing. Asago enters, asking whether Azumi is still going to be hanging around. He tells her. Asago decides she's going home because she has to find evidence against the Gold Dragon clan.

Asago: "Ryuji, you don't have to do anything but watch okay? This is our (the major clans under Kuryugumi) problem, so we'll deal with it ourselves."

Ryuji: "That's what I'm planning."

Asago, blushing a bit: "Also... and... Be careful of that girl. She plans to get you by physical means... Well... of course... it's not for me to say anything about that...." She starts mumbling. {I'm not your bride yet or anything... but... but...}

He pats her on the head. "I'll remember that."

Out in the city, Tsukasa is trying to find something to do, but she has little money. She's walking and thinking at the same time when she hears shots fired. Her police sense picks up the noise and she rushes to its source. The police guy she's seen before has cornered a man. He moves to arrest the guy but accomplices shoot at his arm from behind. Tsukasa's chain comes flying out, knocking the guy out. The police guy is surprised to see her.

Police guy: "So... this Inverted Cross..." (a gun with an inverted cross on the grip) "Where did you get this from huh? "He has 2 of the men tied up. Tsukasa returns saying that she couldn't catch the third guy. She sees the gun.

Tsukasa: "Are those illegal guns?"

Police guy (PG): "This is no place for an amateur to be."

Tsukasa: "That's okay, I plan on becoming a cop in the future."

PG, turning towards the men: "It seems that the ojyosan from the Gold Dragon clan had this gun too..." [Ojyosan = Miss/young lady, especially if she's from a wealthy/well to do family] "I've heard that from the men who tried to attack her." Tsukasa blanches. "How can a person who sticks up for the yakuza become a cop?"

Tsukasa: "Wait! But I didn't know she was from Kuryugumi..." She grabs the police guys left arm. He lets out a silent scream and his hair stands on end. She's just touched his gun shot wound. "Sorry!! I'm sorry!!"

She binds up his arm. "Make sure you get this treated later okay?"

PG: "Are you sure about handkerchief?"

Tsukasa: "Don't worry about it." She smiles.

PG: {What's with this kid? He's like a girl...}

He turns back to the men who are still tied up. Tsukasa asks if she can follow along. The guy tries to dissuade her, telling her it's not fun and games.

Suddenly, there's a squeal of tires. A car is heading straight for them!! Tsukasa and the police guy jump out of the way.

PG: "Kid!! Are you okay!?" He looks behind him. The men he tied up were killed. A police car drives up all of the sudden. The car is sent to chase after the other guy.

"Okay, what's the license plate?" The police guy blanches. He doesn't know. But Tsukasa has managed to see it. The police cruiser speeds off, thanking her.

The police guy starts wilting: {A---ah! I got them... I got them... but they died... What a...}

Tsukasa starts to cheer him up but it doesn't work. She keeps asking if he'd take her with them, wanting to help with the case. She didn't want to go home yet. {If I don't do something, it seems like I'll just be thinking about him all the time...}

The police guy looks at her: {This kids really like a girl...} "What's your name?"

Tsukasa: "Tsukasa!! Tsukasa, from the same word used for 'control'."

The police guys heart skips a beat: "!?" He doesn't know why it happened. "What's your last name!! "

Tsukasa: "What are you so mad about?" She tells him she'll tell him if he tells her about he owner of the hit and run car.

PG: "... The owner's Kasagi Yusuke. The son of Kasagi Company's president, Kasagi Shizuo..."

Back at Ryuji's place. He's smoking and looking at Tsukasa's bag. The words Kamo-san had said to him earlier replay in his mind. He wonders if he shouldn't have been so mean towards her. Azumi enters.

Azumi: "Am I bothering you?"

Ryuji: "...No..."

Azumi, sitting down next to him: "Sandaime, do you hate me?"

Ryuji: "I don't know. I've never experienced true love." He sees Tsukasa's angry face in his mind.

Azumi: "How interesting. You act so mature yet you still have a part of you that's still young." She gets closer to him. "Would you like me... to teach you what love's about?" She touches his face. "Any experience with sex? "

Ryuji doesn't answer.

Azumi: "You have none? The kumicho of such a large group has no experience... You'd be a laugh... I'll teach you... That is one of the duties of seisai..." She starts kissing him.

Ryuji glances at Tsukasa's bag and backs off. "Let's go in the back room." He gets up.

Azumi, smiling slyly: "...Sure..."
