To catch you up on what has happened over the past semester, here is a brief flashback.  With the departure of the legendary Jonesy and the unsure future of Brian Courtney, T was once again out on his own to find a place to live.  Lisa and Brooke approached him with the idea of moving into a house with them and getting his own room.  Of course I accepted the offer and the rest is history.  The three of us along with Jen moved in and the fight for the remote control was on.  Let me tell you that I can now tell you the whole story line from Days of Our Lives.

Fall 1998- Spring 1999

I cant really remember much from this year other than it really sucked!  My collegiate soccer career came to an unexpected end due to the ignorance of an old man and his Irish pooper scooper.  All this on the first day of school, what a way to start your senior year.   This eventually benefited me in the long run because my grades improved dramatically.  It still sucked being away from the team because I played for 3 years with most of those guys and now I had to miss out on what was going to be a memorable year.  I happy for the teams success, but on a professional level, the man with the hearing aid had everything to do with it and everyone knows that.  Enough of the frustrations, lets get into the gossip.

With Jonesy graduating and Courtney being MIA, I needed a place to live.  I lucked out when I was offered a room in a house with Brooke, Lisa, and Jen.  A definite change of pace, I had no clue what to expect.  With all of this stuff going on so early in the semester, it was hard to adjust.  Thanks to Lisa and the game of Gin Rummy, life away from soccer made more sense.  I had nothing to worry about anymore, it was time to get nuts.  I thought living with girls would be like living with my sisters again but in most aspects I was wrong.

On the social scene, the new year brought about The Wabank the new soccer house that would become home to many a party.  Going out at the ville was actually becoming fun again.

I kept my days occupied with class, working at Giant, and lifting with Cuddles.  Since I no longer had practice in the afternoon.  Culbert, Carbo, and myself became avid watchers of field hockey, even though we weren't watching the game, it was an excuse to get out of the house.  This weekly activity would come to haunt me in the weeks to come.

Now that I lived in house, it was time have some parties of my own.  It was usually a good way to start off the weekend.  Pong was common in my house but only if the King had his way. Jonesy and T still own the record of a 23 game winning streak.

I decided to get a team together to play intramural soccer.  I couldn't stay away too long.  I formed a team of all former MU soccer players, known as the X-MEN.  We took on all challengers and proved that we were the best of the best by going undefeated and bringing home the championship.  Of course being former players, we had to deal with issues such as eligibility and whether or not certain members were still on the team. We got around the politics and proved our game against the intramural staff in the finals and game away victorious.

Towards the end of October I found myself in more medical trouble as I dislocated my finger for the second time in four months. This time I had to get surgery to fix the damage. That but me in a soft cast for 2 weeks. That didn't stop me from returning to my stair diving at Carbo's whenever it was necessary to do so.

Winter break brought a great journey to our neighbor to the North, Canada. What in experience, the second day I blew out my knee skiing on a triple diamond.  I had to drive myself to the hospital where I had to wait four hours to see a doctor.  Being stuck in that cabin for the rest of the week made me think hard of my opinion of Canada, it sucked!!!

Here is Jonesy helping me to take the pain away upon my return from the hospital.

The spring brought opportunities to get out more often, which meant one thing. "Road Trips!!!!!" We got down to DC a few times to see Jonesy, Adam, and Zipper.  We were entertained with numerous trips to the Georgetown section of the city.

As the weather began to get warmer, it was time to come up with a spring break destination.  J Willy came up with the idea of making the long trek to Panama City Beach, FL for an all out bash.  After a treacherous 26 hour bus ride, we made it there and the festivities begun. The highlight of the week for most of us was the ALL DAY BEACH PARTY at Sharky's.

Here we are on the last night in Panama City.  Houghy, Nate, Hess, Billy B, T, Ando, J Willy, and Keefer.

Here are some more scenes from Panama City, FL. This night took us to see WCW Nitro and then to Sharky's for yet another free 7-9 happy hour.

We concluded the semester with an extra long graduation party for Culbert, Cudmore, and Billy B which took us all the way to Ocean City, MD.  The highlight of our weekend was topped by singing karaoke all night at Spinners.  The fellas showed how Jon Bon Jovi was supposed to be sung.
