Welcome to my Journal page. I plan on journaling quite often. I'd like to do it on a daily basis, but we'll see how boring that seem's and see if It should be on a weekly basis. The newest entries will be at the top and the older one's will be at the bottom. On this page will be the current month ONLY...If you'd like to see the archives you can check those out here: November, in review... Well November didn't go to badly :0) Overall I ate well and got some exercise in. Overall I lost 4 lb's in November, I'm 1 lb away from 2 major goals..#1 is being at the 20 lb' mark :0) YEAHHHHHHHH took long enough, but I won't complain :0) and #2 other than it being my 20 lb mark, it's also gonna be the first time I was in the hundred's again in quite some time, I'll be 199 after loosing 1 more lb :0) I'm excited, and on the day's when I tell my self "you've been trying to loose weight almost a year, and your ONLY at the 20 lb mark" in the next breath I tell myself "If you had tried think of how far you would've been, but considering your not consistently TRYING then 20lb loss is EXCELLENT!!" I'm slowly loosing which mean's the chances of it staying off are BETTER, and considering I still eat what I want when I want, just in moderation, I think I'm doing pretty danged good :0) Anyhow, each month I plan on ending the journal with a month in review kinda thing so that's why this is here. Saturday, November 25, 2001 I haven't posted in awhile because of the holiday's I've done my "half sit-ups" a few times since I last posted, but that's about it (other than eating well) I did very well over the holiday's I had one plate at Thanksgiving and it was a very small plate, nothing was heaping and falling off the side of the plate :0) Let's see, I had turkey (of course!), green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, a few black olives, 1 deviled egg, mashed potatoes and country gravy 1 small sweet potatoes that I didn't eat but one bite out of, a roll with I can't believe it's not butter spray (zero calories and zero everything else), corn, stove top stuffing and I think that's it :0) It sure sounds like it was a lot but even with a tad bit of everything, you could still see pieces of my plate under the food (like between the items) So I am commending myself for doing so good :0) For dessert I had a small slice of cherry pie with ready whip on it and that was it :0) We had out of town company come down which Is one of the reason's I didn't get much exercise when I was up I was trying to be the best hostess I could be and while I was sleeping, well I was sleeping hard!! :0) I did get a bit of walking in one day though, we took our guest's to Garden of the God's and walked. I don't know how far we walked, and I certainly wasn't speed walking or anything but at least it was some exercise right :0) Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Saturday, November 17, 2001 40 of my "half sit-ups" Ate horribly today, not really horribly, but I ate a burger from Burger King for lunch, and a ham & Cheese sandwich for dinner with spicy brown mustard. I had about 1/2 pint of ice cream earlier before dinner, which is the biggest BAD part lol Tommorrow is another day :0) Friday, November 16, 2001 Nothing today, I took a break from doing anything, other than my normal every day routine of chasing kid's :0) Thursday, November 15, 2001 Ok, 2nd post today. I got a scale, and weighed myself tonight. I weigh 201 :0) So either the doctor's scale was right, or I've lost a few pounds since last month. I'm happy :0) Tonight I did 40 of my "half sit-ups" which I almost didn't do because hubby came to bed early. He's never seen me do them before and I almost "chickened out" because of how stupid it may look, but I did it, after a disclaimer to him about not to even begin laughing or I'd head butt him!! lol Thursday, November 15, 2001 I am gonna try and get me a scale tonight, it's payday so I'm gonna go and see if I can find one that will work for pretty cheap :0) I weigh in on the 15th of every month (just for the record) Wednesday, November 14, 2001 40 of my "half sit-ups"
(btw, I chase kid's all
day and go to the park 2 times with them for a total of 3.5-4 hours
altogether so I don't just sit all day lol) I think I'm gonna try doing
a walk tonight I'll have to see how the kid's are being :0) If I do I'll
post that too :0)
Tuesday, November 13, 2001 I ate good, even with dinner being take out pizza, I only had 1 1/2 piece and no cheesy bread stuff or anything extra. Exercise: 40 "half sit ups" (I did these with my feet hanging off of the bed and "sat up" 40 times using just my tummy and leg muscles. My leg's are very short and my bed is kinda high so my feet were nowhere near the floor so it was actually a pretty good work out. The floor hurts my back and butt too much so I thought I'd see if I could feel any "work out" in my belly and leg's doing them this way. I was determined to do it till I "felt" something so I knew that it was working and pushed myself to do 10 more after I started feeling it really good, just thought I'd explain what my "half sit ups" were) :0) Monday, November 12, 2001 Today I did 20 minutes of Tae Bo (before I couldn't breathe lol) I wasn't pushing it anymore) Aiming for 25 tommorrow :0) Sunday, November 11, 2001
Ok, tommorrow I will be up
at 5 am doing my tae-bo!! I've got to get my lazy butt in gear and get
this weight off. You gal's have to make me STICK TO IT!! Pester me about
if I've done my Tae Bo today!!! Go ahead I'm giving you permission to
harrass me about it :0) Remember I posted awhile ago about doing Tae-Bo
21 day's straight to get back into the swing of things? Guess what I'm
trying to do...Yep you guessed it, Tae-Bo 21 day's straight. It's gonna
kill me I think lol but I do have the 8 minute work out tape for Tae-Bo
so if the 45 min. one is kicking my butt too much then I will switch to
that one for a day or two.
Come on ladies, help me
stick to it!!! Anyone wanna join me in a goal like this?? My eating is
back on track, and I'm eating all the foodgroups, and good solid meal's
since I've started doing daycare so that is going great!! Now just gotta
get the exercise started again. This will definately be a good challenge
for me with friends coming into town for Thanksgiving.
So starting tommorrow
