Melodion

(Old name: Melodica)

Melodion is a combination of Harmonica & Accordion . It's designed by a Japanese , Suzuki , in 1959 . There are 12 different kinds of Melodion : M-37 (commonest)¡BM-36B¡BA-34C¡BM-32P¡BMX-32P¡BMX-27¡BA-25C¡BSTUDY¡EII-25¡BS-32¡BS-27¡BS-25C & B-24 .

Melodion is , similar to piano , a keyboard instrument . However , Melodion can give out heaps of sounds instead of just "ding ding ding" .

The tone ofMelodion is wonderful . Melodion is easy to learn & change major energy-saving , too . No matter it's in solo , ensemble or band performance , it allows us to express our feelings more thoughoutly .

Melodion has great potential and is becoming more popular in Asia . Japan , Indonesia , Malaysia , Singapore , Thailand & the Philipines . The Education Department of these countries has allowed Melodion to be their music-teaching material & extra-curricular activities .

In the Band , piano usually plays chords .

Glockenspein

Glockenspein is a keyboard instrument . Usually , it plays the second part .

Xylophone

Xylophone is a keyboard instrument similar to , whereas it's made of wood .

Xylophone plays long notes by "rolling" .

Organ

Organ is a keyboard instrument which consists of numerous sounds .

In the Band , it normally plays the Bass part .

Drum Set

Drum is very essential in the Band , the rythem of the piece will be strengthened

& the performers can get into the scene of the piece more easily .

Others Percussion Instruments

Others percussions are sometimes invovled in the presentations of pieces ,

such as Chinese drum & gong .
