The new season of Charmed has begun! The season premire aired last night for a two hour opener. In the first hour, Phoebe, while trying to save the life of an innocent mermaid turns herself into a mystical mermaid and is convinced that life is better under the sea. Cole returns in the new season and wants Phoebe to admit her love for him, but she expresses her hatred for his evil doings. In the second hour, Piper is taken hostage by the same demon who killed the sisters' mother. Phoebe transforms from the mermaid form once she admits in her heart she will always have feelings for Cole.

Shannen Doherty left "Charmed" this week after finishing the season 3 finalè. Shannen was apparently left Spelling Productions television and it has left a deep inpression on all Charmed fans! But Charmed will go on, but only with two sisters.

Shannen Doherty is arrested for drunk driving.
LEGAL BRIEF First Robert Downey Jr., and now Shannen Doherty has another brush with the law. Police arrested the ''Charmed'' star for investigation of drunk driving Thursday after they saw her pickup truck weaving on California's Ventura Freeway. According to AP, Doherty refused to take a breath test and opted instead to have blood drawn at the county jail. Results of the blood sobriety test, however, may not be available for another week. Doherty was released after several hours in custody and ordered to attend a hearing on Jan. 26, 2001. It's not the actress' first legal mishap: In 1997, a Beverly Hills judge ordered Doherty to go to anger management counseling after she smashed a beer bottle on a car window during an argument.

The show "Charmed" releases it's newest book. After a series of six books already in stores, "The Book Of Shadows" is said to be a special edition. This book is not a continuation of the story as the others are, but a behind-the-scenes type of book. It should be in stores in January and can be found at any bookstore or the official online charmed store(link coming soon).

The new season of Charmed starts with a great Episode called "Honeymoon's Over". The sisters have a totally new appearance, including Phoebe with blond hair. The sisters seem to be more powerful this season than last.
"Their powers with eventually grow by the end of the season," says an inside source for spoilers, "but do not expect to see Piper having a new power anytime soon."
Spoilers all over the internet are claiming the marrage of Piper and Leo to be complete by the end of the season. But what about Phoebe's love afair with the new character on the introduction? Kole is his name and evil is his game. Or is it? We won't find out until a few more episodes if Kole will overcome his evilness.
