716-21 Advanced Urban Analysis

Course Objective: This course is an introductory course for spatial analysis and GIS. Spatial analysis includes not only urban analysis but also analysis of any phenomena occurred in a geographical space (geographical analysis, environmental analysis, ecological analysis and so forth). No prerequisite (all mathematical and computational techniques are given in the class), but students are recommended to read textbooks on basic statistics in advance.

Grading Policy: Grading will be determined as follows: 

Report = 50 percent; 

Presentation = 50 percent; 

Total: 100 percent
