Three memorable comments
that shaped my academic philosophy and passion for professional
career
"..contemptuous pride..stops us from listening from juniors,
subordinates, and people down the line. You cannot expect a person
to deliver results if you humiliate him...expect to be creative if
you abuse him or despise him. Line between firmness and harshness,
between strong leadership and bullying, between discipline and
vindictiveness is very fine"
Wings
of fire by Dr.
Abdul Kalam, notable
scientist and engineer often referred to as the Missile Man of
India and popularly known as the People's President.
"Science
is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at
it...."
Albert Einstein, changed
the philosophy of science forever.
"Scientists
study the world as it is, engineers create the world that never has
been"
Theodore von Kármán, one
of the few truly giants of aeronautics that could compete with the
great minds of the twentieth century.
