Bands
Upon Crimson Wings - Boston metalcore band, they shred.
The Ass Arrived, Most Beautiful and Brave - Crusty sounding CT hardcore, cool kids.
Trinity Test - Mathy metal/hc from MA.
Watch Me Burn - Awesome metal/grind from CA.
Terminally, Your Aborted Ghost - Death/grind from MA.

...And I Can't Wait - Sadly departed, fondly remembered.
There Were Wires - One of the best hardcore bands in boston.
XHEADWALKX - TRUE 'TIL DEATH (AND BEYOND) BITCHES! *wink wink*

Labels and distros
Ebullition - This is the hugest, most awesome diy hardcore distro, ever... Tons of good records, cheap.
No Idea Records - Huge punk/hc record label and distro from Florida. They also have tons of good records for next to nothing.
Relapse Records - I don't even have to say anything about this one.
Robotic Empire (formerly Robodog) - Releases by page ninetynine, the red chord, employer employee, neil perry, benumb, pig destroyer, and a billion other amazing bands.
625 Thrashcore - The fastest music ever.

Places to talk shit online

Lambgoat - In addition to having a shittalkers paradise of a messageboard, they have a pretty good news section and are some cool people.
PA Hardcore - This is the site that most hc websites model themselves after. Huge messageboard, band and shows listings, record reviews... go talk some shit.
CT Punx - Yay, CT scene politics! Coalesce - In addition to being the home of the immortal Coalesce, they have a very active messageboard on which you can talk shit to your heart's content.

Webzines and record reviews

Aversion Online - Fucking massive monthly webzine, with 50 to 100 reviews every month, and usually one or two in depth interviews. This site is really great, and all that work is done by one guy! Hardcore.
Deep Fry Bonanza - Whenever I get online, this site is one of my first stops. They post two very well written record reviews almost every day, as well as doing show reviews and photography. They review everything from pop punk and emo to full on hc, and have been very attentive to the old school hardcore renaissance that is currently going on.
Pitchfork Media - This isn't really a hardcore site at all. They've reviewed a couple of hc records, but they tend to focus on indie rock. Their reviews are great, however. Anything with a low score is pretty much guaranteed to be funny, there. Check out their review of Lateralus.
Calamity Project - A cool webzine put out by this guy from MA. Messageboard, too. Don't talk shit there, we like 'em.
Satan Stole My Teddybear - This site looks wimpy, and they review some powerpop every now and then as a decoy... don't be fooled, they're fucking METAL! \m/ Really cool site, where else do you find Embrace, Emerson Lake and Palmer, and Emperor reviews site by side...
Punkfix - Good record reviews, interviews, and columns covering the whole spectrum of punk, not just hc. No metalcore, woohoo!
Delusions of Adequacy - A huge site, they review tons of stuff from all different genres of independant music.

Other randomness

Crimethinc - Eat out of a dumpster to save the world. No, really!
Unlit - Spiffy looking mindfucking, you love it!
Vented - Mah dear, dear friend who rocks you. She gave me lots of html help, she owns. Go vote for her cam.
Unixpunx - Home of the famous unixpunx ftp, and lots of other cool stuff for geeky punks.
The Shocking Truth - This website has exposes about the Straightedge Conspiracy and they reveal Henry Rollins for the skinny vegetarian he is...
Ted Rall - Read Ted Rall's comics online. This man is brilliant.
The Editing Room - The antidote to hollywood.
Maximum Rocknroll Web Radio - Listen to fucking cool underground punk, free, on the 'net.
Boycott the RIAA - Since I mentioned webradio, I ought to mention this. They're trying to kill web radio, among other things. Fuck the RIAA. We don't need them for nothin.
