Higley Flow State Park
Higley Flow State Park is a special place.  Open for camping from Memorial through Labor Day.  It offers spacious wooded camp sites, some with full hook ups.  Waterfront sites are available.  There is a boat launch for power boats and canoes.  Quiet bays surround the park and provide opportunities for exploration.   There is a sandy beach and a playground with barbecue grills and picnic tables.  The park offers nature trails as well.  The quiet. paved loops provide a safe place for cyclists.  For information on reservations:

On the Trails

Backwoods Inn near Sevey's Corners on State Route 56 offers rooms and meals to hunters and snowmobilers.  The Inn is located on the groomed trails of the St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Association. 
  
Parmenter

The Parmenter Campground is operated by Niagara Mohawk  It is located on Carry Falls Reservoir, South of South Colton on State Rte. 56.  A nominal fee is charged for the use of these sites, particularly popular with fishermen.  Carry Falls is a largely undeveloped impoundment with lovely sand beaches for picnicking.

Stowe's Bay Campground
