What We Offer
Our Stone Valley Trail is spectacular!   This trail follows the Racquette River as it plunges toward the St. Lawrence River.  The full trail is seven miles long with several shorter loops possible.  These kettle holes are seen from the East side of the river.  The sedimentary and metamorphic rock formations are particularly interesting to geology buffs.
* Water skiing is among the many popular sports.  Higley Flow has its own regulation water ski course located near the State Park.  A half course is available for novices.  The course is maintained by volunteers.

Cyclng-mountain biking opportunities include the popular Burntbridge Pond Trail with destinations of Brandy Brook Flow or the Burntbridge Pond leanto.

*  Whitewater
canoeing and kayaking in the southern portion of the township on the Racquette.  Flat water on the Colton Pond Wildlife Refuge and all the other flows.

*  Camping at Higley Flow State Park, Stowe's Bay Campground, and Parmenter Campsite.
Snowmobiling on hundreds of miles of groomed trails; we are the hub of the St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Trail System.

*  Cross Country Skiing-free skiing on fifteen miles of groomed and trackset trails at Higley Flow State Park.

*  Dog Sled Excursions-provided by Call of the Wild Kennel, Iditarod Competitor.
