About Our Town Our townspeople are small in numbers, but large in hospitality. This is a friendly town in which to live, work, or play. Our school system is small, grades K-12 are housed under one roof. Teachers here are dedicated, conscientious, and caring. We are ranked among the top small schools in the state. Students receive plenty of individual attention. Because of the small enrollment and wealth of extra curricular activities, no one lacks the opportunity to participate. We are an active town with an historical society which operates a museum chronicling the history of the town, and provides self-guided walking and motor tours of historical sites. |

Fall Foliage The placid waters of our flows and ponds provide a spectacular backdrop for leaf peeping in the fall. These same trees which provide brilliant color in the fall provide sap for maple syrup production in the spring. Wildliife A wide range of wildlife dwells in the forests and along the waterways of the township. White-tailed deer are very common, bald eagles have recently returned to the area, coyote, owls, and waterfowl are among the other frequent sightings. |
