Children, by nature, are messy little beings. They live for it! But it's also how they learn. It's up to parents to keep them on the straight and narrow. To all those parents I say...GOOD LUCK!
Overwhelmed by Toys!?! It's easy to do, but sometimes kids get overwheled too. For starts, limit Christmas' to a few nice toys. Let family and friends know as well. Kids should learn lessons on quality not quantity. Second divide toys ito small, manageable groups and pack each group away in a plastic bin. Decorate the box with stickers! Once a week take out a new bin of toys and clean and put away the old ones. This way kids will get use out of all their toys without the mess.
Small Pieces Getting Lest? Ziploc bags are winners! They come in many sizes and keep items from gettin glost or ruined. Try using different size bags for game pieces or a collection spot for decks of cards. They're not just for food!
Grow Baby Grow! Babies grow at alarming speeds. What fits today probably won't fit tomorrow. I keep a plastic bin in my children's closet. When something doesn't fit, I just toss it in there. When it's full, I mark the box with the size and put in the attic. This came in handy when my daughter was born!
