| When I was a little girl, there was a couple who lived in the apartment above us. They were from Cosat Rica and one day they gave me a few coins from their country. I thought it was the coolest thing and what I didn't know was that it started a love of foreign coins that would last almost 30 years. Over those many years both friends and family members have provided me with many coins. I have even acquired some paper money as well. I find that money is steeped in history. Look at our own money ~ presidents and famous places grace all of our money and it's only getting better! The Treasury Department is getting creative and now our money isn't as boring looking as it use to be. On this page I will share my lifelong hobbie. I hope you enjoy! |
| When I was younger, my goal was to collect a coin from every country in the world. I guess it was like having the world in my hand. I have a pretty good start, but I'm not quite there. |
