| The Laundry |
| Did I say that word? It is an ugly word, but a necessary one. For starters a good hamper is essential. I use a three sectioned laundry hamper. One section for whites, one section for lights and one section for darks. A laundry day is also an essential. Devote one day to laundry. Start and finish on that day. If there is a lot of laundry in your family, have two laundry days. The important thing though is to start and finish on the same day. Laundry that sits in the laundry room gets wrinkled, forgotten and in the summer, it molds if it's wet. Have all laundry supplies on hand and within easy reach. A small storage rack is big enough to hold detergent, fabric softener, bleach and spot remover. |
