| Herbs Herbs play a huge role in most magickal practices, from ceremonaial magick to folkmagic, herbs are a big part of rituals and spells. The right, or wrong, herbs used can make or break a spell. Of course, they are only need if the person casting the spell thinks they are needed, and herbs meanings change from systems to system, and tradition to tradition, here I will list some common and traditional uses for herbs, and other useful information. The best was of obtaining your herbs, is of course, to grow them yourself. When you grow your own herbs you are making sure that no pesticides have been used on them (ecspecially important when you are injesting them!!) and that they are in fact what you think they are. Please be careful when working with herbs, some are dangerous and you should always consult with a doctor and/or herbalist before injesting or putting a herb directly on you skin. |
