There you go.  That will have to last anyone reading this for the week, as I won't be here.  Anyway, now you get to know more about Brenen.  Hope you enjoy it!
Well, I'm back.  Just for you, Oana, I shall update a day early.  So those who read this, you have her to thank.  Go to the guestbook and tell her how good she is!!
"My names is Jess, this is my brother Jeff, and our friend Matt," said Jess.  "Nice to meet you," said Brenen.  "Don't think your off the hook yet!"  Matt started on Brenen again, managing only to keep his voice down a little.  "You still haven't told us what you're doing down here!"  "Well, I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't let me finish," retorted Brenen.  "Smart ass," Matt muttered under his breath.  "As I started to say before, I was training," said Brenen.  "I do karate, and I'm going for my third degree black belt test in a couple of weeks. I wanted somewhere where I could train alone.  Sorry if I scared you guys."  "Wow, that's insane Bren!  Oh, sorry, do you mind if I call you Bren?"  "No, not a bit."   said Bren.  By this point, Matt had calmed down, and saw that the twins really liked Bren.  "Sorry Brenen, it's just that this is a really cool building, and I hate it when people damage it."  Matt wasn't about to explain to him the real reason why he was protective of the building.  He didn't want Jess to know that he needed somewhere to escape from life either.  "No problem Matt, just a misunderstanding.  No big deal," said Bren.  "Man, can you break something for me?" asked Jeff.  "I've always wanted to see someone to that in person."  "I don't know, I normally don't do breaking.  I just have to do it for the test," said Bren.  "Oh, c'mon, please" asked Jess, giving Bren a puppy dog look.  "Yah, it'd be cool," said Matt, not really knowing what they were talking about, but wanting to be cool with Bren.  "Oh, all right," Bren sighed.  He walked over to a big pile of rocks, and picked out one about the size of his fist.  "You guys should go stand behind something," he warned.  Not taking him seriously, they went over to a nearby pillar.  Bren threw the rock up in the air, and spun around to kick the rock just above his head.  Since he was 6"1, that in itself was pretty impressive to the three.  Of course, the fact that the stone exploded into tiny pieces which flew across the room was pretty impressive too.  The bang that resulted from the contact was the sound that they had heard.  Bren slowly lowered his foot, and looked over at the three friends.  They had covered their heads with their hands to avoid being hit with the pieces of rock, and just now were standing up and staring at Bren.
"I've been doing it since I was nine, and I'm seventeen now," said Bren.  "My parents died just after I started, so I threw myself into training.  I practice everday.  It helps me deal with life, and also to remeber my parents."  Bren stood in the middle of the room, his eyes on the the three, almost daring them to laugh at his commitment.  "Oh," gasped Jess. "Damn, that sucks," muttered Jeff.  "Sorry man," said Matt, now feeling like an ass for yelling at Bren over some rubble.  "It's ok Matt, you didn't know," said Bren, becoming friendly so sudden, that it took the three friends a few seconds to regester the change.  "I was just finishing up my training for tonight.  What are you guys doing here anyway?"  "I was just showing these two around," said Matt.  "They had never been, and I've been here a bunch."  "Yah, he showed us a really pretty view up on the second floor!" said Jess.  "You wanna see?" said Jeff?  "Sure, sounds cool," said Bren.  They wandered back upstairs and sat back down on the couch.  Now Jeff had to perch on one of the arms of the couch, with Bren sitting beside him on the couch.  Jess sat in the middle, with Matt on the farthest side of the couch.  Jess was staring at Bren, who was talking to Jeff about karate.  Matt caught the way she looked at him, and thought "Damn, I might be too late!"

Update: August 11, 2003
Sorry for not updating in so long.  I started doing some renovating, so I didn't have a lot of time.  But I promise to try to update once a day from now on.  For a while, at least.
Well, so far so good.  I kept my promise, and have updated again and I shall to keep this up.  This update is very short, but ending it anywhere else would have been awkward.
"You guys were right, this is really nice," said Bren, completely oblivious of how Jess was looking at him.  "Yah, it's pretty cool," said Jeff.  "Who might these three be?" asked a female voice from behind.  Jess, Jeff, and Matt jumped up and turned around to see who had spoken, but Bren just shifted and said, "Just a few guys I met downstairs Jasmin.  "Cool," Jasmin said.  "Be nice and introduce us," "Guys, this is my cousin Jasmin.  Jasmin, this is Jess, Jeff, and Matt."  "Nice to meet you," Jasmin said.  "You guys looked a little jumpy, not scared of me, were you?"  "No... well, maybe," Jeff said.  "We're still a little on edge I guess."  "From all the banging and running," said Jess, seeing the puzzled look on Jasmin's face.  "We thought Bren was vandalizing the place, and ran down to stop him," finished Matt.  "Ah, ok," said Jasmin.  "Jasmin moves around with me, since her dad's in prison, and her mom died during childbirth," said Bren, with a sad look at Jasmin.  "Oh, why did you have to bring that up, Bren," sighed Jasmin.  "Let's just have some fun."  With those words, she tackled Bren, who had stood up during the conversation.  As soon as he was down, she pounced on Jeff.  Before he could stop her, he found himself being tickled with no mercy.  Matt started to come to his rescue, but Bren had gotten back up, and launched himself at Matt.  While he couldn't knock him down, he did manage to cling onto his back.  Jess stared at the wrestiling match happeneing before, and sunk down into the couch with a laugh.  Jeff, having finally broken free from Jasmin, ran over to his sister.  He pulled the now screaming Jess, and heaved her at Jasmin.  The two girls fell down laughing.  Jasmin out of the way, Jeff jumped on to Matt, giving Bren a hand in taking down Matt, something he had never been able to do.  Jasmin and Jess got back up, looked at each other, and ran over to give Matt a hand.
An hour later, Jess looked down at her watch.  She was sitting on the couch with Jasmin, taking a break, while Bren and Jeff kept at Matt.  They hadn't managed to knock him down yet, but without Jess and Jasmin helping him, they were getting close.  "Jeff, it's almost midnight!" Jess yelled.  "Mom's gonna kill us!" Thud! Matt came crashing down to the floor.  "What?" yelled Jeff.  "Sorry guys, gotta fly, catch you later!" "Later!" Bren and Jasmin said.  Matt gave a weak wave goodbye, still winded from his fall to the floor.  After Matt caught his breath, he said he had to get going.  "You guys wanna get together tommorow?" he added.  "Sure," said Jasmin.  She took out a pen and grabbed Matt's hand, and wrote down her number.  "Give us a call to let us know where we should meet," she said.  "Will do.  Later," Matt said, waving to them as he left the room.  "See ya tommorow," Bren called after Matt.  Jasmin and Bren got up and sat on the couch.  They stayed silent, just looking out over the town.  After about ten minutes, Jasmin said "We better get going too cuz.  I mean, you looked pretty tired after putting Matt on the floor."  "Yah, yah, I guess you're right," sighed Bren.  "Too bad we have to leave this place, it's nice," said Bren.  "Maybe we can come tommorow again?" suggested Jasmin.  "Yah, that'd be cool," said Bren.  They got up and left the room together in silence.
