This update is almost all new.  I've run out of stuff, so I might not be able to update everyday from now on, but I will try.  A new character introduced in this bit.
Anther new character.  Well, not really.  You will see what I mean pretty soon.
John's hood shifted to look in Brenen's direction, and they all felt a chill go up their spines.  The feeling passed quickly though, and there was no change in John's voice when he spoke.  "Well, I knew that you come here often, so I thought I would meet you in a more friendly atmosphere."  "How could you know that we come here often?" questioned Bren.  "Good question, you see..." John began to answer, but was cut off again.  "Finally, I've caught up with you," came a voice from behind the teens.  They all turned around in shock to see a man dressed in what appeared chainmail . Matt was about to question the newcomer, when John started to glide over to stand just in front of the group.  "Well, well Jason," he said.  "I didn't expect to see you so soon."  "Yah, well I'm here," Jason said, his voice filled with hatred and menace.  "So you're just gonna have to step away from these kids, and leave without them."  "Ha Ha, oh really," said John, his voice suddendely sounding a lot like Jason's, but with an overtone of superiority.  "I guess you are going to stop me?  You should know by now that you don't have the strength."  "Hey, could someone tell me what's going on?" asked Jeff, now thoroughly confused.  "This man... sorry, I should say thing, is trying to take you away from here," Jason responded.  "Kids, do not listen to this man, he does not know what he is saying," said John, his voice becoming smooth again.  "The hell I don't!" yelled Jason.  He rushed straight at John so fast that no one, not even Bren was aware what had really happened.
"I wonder who did this?" asked Jeff, in a subdued voice. "Ah, that would be me," said a voice near the fireplace. A cloaked figure rose from the chair, and turned to face the teens. The two girls screamed, and dashed behind Matt. They poked their heads around him just as Matt managed to shout "Who the hell are you?" Jeff had backed up when the stranger appeared, but seeing how Bren hadn't moved, he slid over to stand beside him. "Sorry to scare you, it was not my intent," said the stranger in a very smooth voice. "I was just happy to have found you at last." "What? You’ve been looking for us?" Matt said. "What are you, FBI or something?" "Ha Ha, no, nothing like that," laughed the stranger. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is John, and I have a proposition for you." "Why are you all covered up?" asked Bren, his suspicion sneaking into his voice. "The only reason I wear this cloak is because of a nasty skin disease I have," John replied calmly. "It is quite unpleasant, so I keep covered." John started moving towards the group, and all but Bren and Matt backed up a step. "I think you will like what I have to offer, so please just hear me out," John said. "I represent a new company who would like you five to be our new spokespeople. You were automatically entered by your school, and we thought you would be perfect, and so I was sent to tell you the good news." "Where is your company?" asked Jasmin, who had stepped out from behind Matt. "We are located in..." John was about to reply when Bren interrupted him. "If you are from some new company, why didn't you come contact us at our homes, instead of hiding out in this building?"

The first fight scene!  There will be many more, and they will be longer, and hopefully beter than this one.
And now, the stunning, if somewhat confusing, conclusion to yesterday's bit.  Don't worry, I'll start telling you what's going on soon.
Jason collided with John, and sent him flying into the wall.  The group all started in shock as John stood up from an attack that had caused him to break the wall he hit.  He brushed off his cloak, and then didn't make another move.  "Oh no you don't," yelled Jason, and charged John again.  This time it looked like John managed to avoid the attack, but his cloak was ripped off.  The group was forced to agree with what he had said earlier about his appereance.  He had skin that appeared to be tinged green, and looked to be very rough, almost scaly.  He struck out at Jason with a punch followed so fast with a kick to his side that they looked simultaneously.  The punch didn't connect, but the kick did, sending John flying.  He managed to stop before he hit the wall, but this time he did not launch himself back at John.  He jumped over at the group.  "You guys get out of here," he said in a weak voice.  The hit John delivered to his side had crakced a few ribs, and if Jason was going to keep on fighting, he didn't want to worry about the teens getting in the way.  "You have to leave now!" Jason yelled, wincing in pain.  The group just stood there staring for a moment, but Bren finally saw that Jason was right, and got them moving towards the door.  By this time, John was attacking again.  He landed another kick, this time to the one of Jason's leg.  The sound of bone crunching shot through the air, but Jason didn't cry out in pain.  Instead, he hit John in the chest three times, knocking him back to the other side of the room, and wipped out what appeared to be a playing card.  "How did you get that here?" asked John, obviously feeling those last three punches.
"There are ways to escape the game that you don't know about," sneered Jason.  "The way I got out, I was able to bring a few small things.  I brought this just for you."  He pointed the card at John, and suddednly there was an aura of bright blue light around the card.  "Ahhh, what the hell!," said Bren, covering his eyes.  Jasmin was doing the same thing, only she just had her hand up in between the card and her face.  "What's up guys?" asked Jeff, puzzled.  "The lights not that bright."  "Yes it is," said  Bren, finally having to turn away.  Jason started speaking again, and Jeff, Jess and Matt looked back at him.  "This might not hold you for long, but it will give me time to help them," he was saying.  "You know that there is no way you can save them," said John, dropping any effort at maintaing his smooth, convicing voice and manner.  "They will be coming with me, whether you cast that or not."  "Maybe, but I'm still going to try," said Jason.  The light around the card turned from blue to an orangey-red, and thin beams of silver shot out of the card!  They pierced through the air, headed straight at John.  He tried to dodge, but it was a useless move.  The beams of silver wrapped around him with such force he was thrown off his feet.  He struggled for a moment, then stopped moving.  "Out, now!" Jason yelled at the kids, trying to hobble over to them.  Bren and Matt hurried over to him, and helped him up.  "What the hells going on?" asked Jasmin and Jeff at the same time.  "Not here, in another room," wheezed Jason, his breath ragged.
