I guess you could call this the end of part one. I'm not going to break it up into chapters yet, but if I do, this is a good spot for a new chapter, or something. Enjoy. |

John turned to face Jeff, and Matt and Jess could finally see his face. There was no emotion showing, and it chilled them to the bone. "Bastard!" yelled Jeff, and raised his fist to punch John. John's fist flicked up so fast, that the kids could barely see it. Jeff's head snapped back, his eyes wide in shock. He landed on the floor, his back arched. His body slumped down on the ground, and his eyes slid closed. "Cabog fuda ioll," said John. "Ior nudar uibho, iosg," replied two voices from behind Jess and Matt. They both whirled around, and saw two cloaked figures standing behind them. They reached out for them, and Matt saw they had the same green skin as John. Matt stood up to try and stop them, so the cloaked figure drove his fist into Matt's stomach. Matt doubled over in pain, with a cry of pain. "Matt!" Jess yelled, but the other figure had already picked her up. The alien who had struck Matt pulled something out of his cloak, and pointed it at the wall. The whole wall begin to shimmer a very dull silver. The alien put away the device, and bent over Matt. It grabbed hold of Matt's shirt, and flung him at the wall. "No!" cried Jess. Matt flew through the wall, leaving only a few ripples. "What..." Jess muttered. John walked over, carrying Bren and Jeff, and threw them at the wall. They disappeared as well. John then turned to Jess, and pulled her head up to face him by her hair. "Imchaist dullog," he sneered, and then whiped his hand around to the side of Jess' head. There was a sharp pain in her temple, and then everything went black. |

Jess was the first to wake up. She opened her eyes, and sat up. Thinking she was in her room back home, she was shocked to find herself in a strange cramped room. She stared around in shock as the memories of last night came back to her. She remebered John, and Jason coming to help them, and then she couldn't remember much after that. "What had happened to Jason?" she wondered. "And where am I?". She looked around the small room. There wasn't much there. There was no window, and the only light was coming from a pot light in the ceiling. It was casting a dull yellow glow over the room. At first she thought she might be in the basement of the apartment building, but then felt that the bed underneath her had sheets, a pillow, and was comfortable. "This can't be the apartments, too new," she muttered to herself. The only other thing in the room was what looked like a garbage can built into the wall, a waist height shelf, and a door. On the shelf was a change of brown, drab clothing. Looking down at herself, Jess recieved yet another surprise. She was changed out of her old clothes, and wearing a thin night gown. "When did I change?" she mused. "I don't remeber that." Not reliazing what was really going on, she decided to change into the clothes on the shelf, which fit her perfectly, and see what was beyond the door. |
