Membership Fees Members are reminded that TR membership fees for 2009/2010 are now due. July Newsletter Is due out towards the end of June. We are looking for state director reports, member's stories, articles of interest to other members, etc. If you have anything suitable, please send it to HQ.! Bendigo Event Tweed Radio members had a great day out at the Bendigo Sideband Radio Club's display at the Bendigo show grounds held on Sunday May 3rd. Not sure how he did it, but John 43TR003 managed to contact Geoff 43TR299 via MSN during the afternoon! 27th April 2009 New Members Tweed Radio welcomes 43TR007 Steven and Pat of Bendigo, Victoria to the group! 12th April 2009 New Members Tweed Radio welcomes 43TR400 Thomas of Mudgee N.S.W. & 43TR666 Nick & Charmaine of Bendigo, Victoria to the group! 16th March 2009 Brisbane Meet And Greet TR members gathered on a lovely fine day Sunday 8th March ( considering we had a very large Cyclone off our shores ) at Camp Mountain Look-Out, in the Brisbane Forest Reserve, to share great company and friendship. We had 7 visitors drop in and everyone had a good time. Jim and Mal cooked us a sausage sizzle , with onions on a bread roll with sauce. And did they hit the right spot - much enjoyed. We also had two special visitors named GOANNA and GOANNA-NANA they were very big but not afraid of us humans. Guess they get fed plenty by visitors. But not by us as the sign says no feeding. We had Jim TR327, Mal TR 300, Neil TR 111, Sharon TR113, Bob TR 024, John/ Leila TR 005. Visitors were James, Terry and Daisy, Dave, Scotty, Andy and Jessica. Our next Meet and Greet will be on the Second Sunday 14th June 2009. Venue: 2004 Edition of Brisbane UBD Map 23. Ref 9k. Mowbray Park.
