*Contact your local Women's Shelter for more info, emergency shelter, and support.

*Contact your local county court for more information regarding PFA's (Protection From Abuse) to obtain a court ordered restraining order against your abuser.
*Keep an emergency kit handy.  This is a small bag with a change of clothes, cash, important papers, bank cards, etc. so you may leave as quickly as possible when ready.

*Remember: This can happen to ANYONE, you are not alone, there are people there to help.
