"We're in the thick of it still, doing a lot of overdubs," singer Serj Tankian said. "It's going great. I'm happy with all the songs, the diversity of it." Tankian is also working on mixing a song he and Audioslave's Tom Morello and Brad Wilk recorded in his studio while rehearsing for an Axis of Justice concert. "We started jamming and we did this little jazzy piece with poetry over it and it turned out cool," Tankian said of the track, which will be released on Axis of Justice's Web site. |
