Davis son of James P and Fannie Clemintine (Kimbrell)Davis, 3rd from R is Nora Davis daughter of Cyrus A and Lucy (Hosier)Davis, and 4th from R is Evie Davis daughter of James P and Fannie C (Kimbrell)Davis. Fifth from R is Mirilda Jane Kimbrell (second wife of John Barton Davis), sixth from R is Clemie Kimbrell her sister, seventh from R is Cyrus Allen Davis son of Charles Edward Davis and Sarah Annie (Roberts)Davis that are also in this photo 2nd and 3rd from Left. Eighth from right next to Cyrus Davis is Lena Tantzen daughter of Lottie Ellen Tantzen(Davis). On far left in photo is Mason Oliver Davis Cyrus' brother and son of Charles Edward and Sarah Annie Davis. We know the photo was taken prior to 1920 because John Barton Davis is in the photo. Since James P. Davis, older brother of John Barton Davis, is not in this photo, it must have been taken after 1906. I suspect the photo may have been taken in the Pursley, Purdon, TX area near Corsicana, but I am not really sure. My granddad Alvah N Davis liked photography when he was younger and either owned a camera or had access to one. Since he is not in this photo I suspect he took it. Cyrus Allen Davis appears to be about 9 years old in the photo so I suspect this photo was taken around 1914.
