Matching Clubs | Rotary
Club of Courtallam, and Rotary Club of Courtallam Central had been our
matching clubs in 1994-95. We exchanged family visits and our fellowship
then developed is still strong.
Rotary Club of Haripad was our Matching Club in 1997-98 and the period was characterized by exchange of visits and cultural activities. Payippattu Boat Race, in Haripad witnessed by our members is still remembered with pleasure. Our Club had cooperated and some of our members were fully involved in the conduct of artificial limb camps at Sivakasi, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil and Ambalapuzha. Participation of about 50 Rotary Clubs in the activity was coordinated by our members. Though not considered as Matching Clubs, the 50 Clubs interacted very closely with our members and the mutual benefits derived were more than what any club in their individual capacity would have gained. |
