Thus, the Interact Club of Her Highness Rani Parvathi Bai Girls High School was organized in 1994-95. The Interact Club members, in the age group of 14 to 17, meet fortnightly to listen to external speakers on topics of Personality Development and Career DEvelopment. The members undertake two projects every year, one to assist poor students of the same school and the second, a community service or environment protection programme. |
Rotary Village Corps of Ooroottambalam was organized in 1997-98 with the parents and teachers in Ooroottambalam Village to co-operate in the building of potable water supply project aimed at providing water to the Lohia Primary School, Ooroottambalam and the neighbouring population. The RCC is now maintaining the installation. |

Rotary Village Corps of Nyalikkunnu was formed in 1999 for the purpose of constructing a Drinking Water Supply System for the poor residents of a hill top. People used to carry water from the valley 500 meters below. Members of the Corps contributed physical labour and are now maintaining the Project. |
Rotary Community Corps of Mukkolakkal was organized in 2000. The Corps co-operate with the Club in conducting polio immunization camps, Identification of deserving students and distribution to them of uniforms, books and stationery, under the Adoption of Schools Programme. The RCC was the backbone in the conduct of the mammoth 12 day camp for the Free Supply of Artificial Limbs to about 1,000 beneficiaries in January 2001. The RCC members took the full responsibility for the running of the kitchen to feed more than 2,500 persons including beneficia- ries, their aides, volunteers and workshop personnel, over an average of 5 days. The premises were also managed by them.

The Trivandrum Unit of the Institute of Local Self Government, Bombay, is also a Partner in Service with us. All the 200+ boys and girls join in our humanitarian programmes. The services in Polio Vaccination and Limb Camp were exemplary. |
