Speaking of Bangsar, do you remember the golden years of Bangsar?
Great pubs like Moonraker and the one and only Alex Peters…Where
is he now?
IMHO, Alex
Peters is the greatest! If you were listening to him outside the
Moonraker, you would have thought that a five-piece band was playing
inside. Alex was a special part of Bangsar's nightlife. With his
own cult following (the Gravediggers or something like that),
he used to rock the neighborhood. He made a brief comeback at
(where else?) Bangsar recently. He has mellowed a bit (musically)
and his new act included some very interesting arrangement of
current hits. I could also recognized some of his fans from the
Moonraker days. Some were balding, most with extended waistlines…
Name: Ah Meng (K.L.)
Wahhh, so good one yo homepage. Veli intelestiing mah. But why
no joke on singapore. singapore always bang us mah, why not we

Name: Lars Nisshagen (Sweden)
I will be in Malaysia/Asean sometime in December, if you have
the time, maybe I can get in touch with you and you can show me
some of the famous pubs. Thank You.
Sure. Malaysians
are a hospitable lot but the drinks are still on you…
Name: Hari Singh (Kuala Pilah)
Great site.
How often do you update your page?? Let us know. By the way the
judge in Penang is getting off...why...lack of evidence...he swallowed
it!!! Keep up the bai jokes.......
Name: Greg Anderson (Los Angeles)
Despite all the flak RTM gets from your visitors, I got thru their
Radio Music last Friday. There was a deejay with very little chatter
and he played a great selection of jazzy numbers. Didn't get the
name, I think it was Saturday morning Malay time. I had a great
time listening to the program. Good job, both of you.
It's Radio
Muzik (pronounce Mew Sick). Mmmm.... jazz and minimal chatter;
that eliminates Pinky and Jackie (great gals though). I think
it's definitely Rodney Fernandez. Too bad he can't read your compliments
here. I met up with him last week and he told me his computer
has gone kaput. I'll let him know when I see him next. Thanks
for tuning in.
Name: Linda C (Petaling Jaya)
Re: Radio Musik. What happened to my favourite deejay Gary Thanesan???
Gary the Man
with the Golden Balls (as in "Lingo") is missing? No
wonder I have not heard from him for sometime...I'll find out.

Can I connect you to a good "spell-checker" as well?
Name: Tonto (Sentul Reservation)
Kemosabe! Me like homepage...very nice, very wise...
Hi yo Siva!
Name: Emily (Peejay)
Great stuff, keep 'em coming...still waiting for the urban legends,
when-lah ?
Emily, remember
the info you sent me on the Motorola UL? The story is really intriguing
and I'm still digging...if nothing comes out of it, Malaysia Roadside's
Urban Legends may turned out to be a classic urban legend by itself!
Name: Tan Sri (The Office of
the Tan Sri)
Yeah, I'm always right. Don't you know that by now? Anyway, I'd
rather not go up to Dato Seri.. It's a
little too pompous (if even possible) for me. You
need new stuff for the national page, like national sweetheart...
And there are no new national enemies... how come?? Put in "thirsty"
people as national enemy. They drink a lot of water you know.
The Tan Sri is always right, and he knows more than you.
Who's your
nomination for "National Sweetheart"? As for "National
Pain In The Ass", I already have somebody in mind...
Name: Madeline Ong (Penang)
I like the "new look" and it loads much faster. Do you
have a mailing list for updates?
Yes. I'll
put you on the list. If the e-mail address you gave is not the
"right" one, write in again.
Name: V Ratulele (Fiji)
I am a regular visitor to your Worldband radio. If you don't mind
my asking, which is your own favourite radio station in the page?
Favorite of
the favorites; KIIS FM Los Angeles with Rick Dees in the mornings
(around 9 pm Malaysian time). Other favorites; Joy 99.7 Ghana,
New 96 FM Perth, Capital FM London, GT 108 Chattanooga and Radio
1 Lebanon. What's yours?
Name: GS Tan (Kuantan)
Please put me in meiling list also. thank you.
Who is Mei
Ling?

Sri (The Office of the Tan Sri)
National sweethearts huh? Let's see... Amy Mastura, Siti Nurhaliza,
Sheila Majid, Wan Zaleha Radzi, Erra Fazira, Ziana Zain. National
enemies? Put in "Singaporeans". That'll work around
80% of the time. The Tan Sri is always right and we both know
it. So kneel in fear before his feet!
Not a bad
selection of sweethearts...wives, ex-wives and mistresses among
them...Hmmm

Re: Favoritte Radio. You forget Radio Eldoradio Luxembourg. I
think is good as well. Many thanks for the service.

TREEEEEEEMENDOUS SITE !! Without a doubt the CURE ALL of whatever
ails you. I don't recall how I came upon your site (surfing most
likely) but glad I did. Having toured the Peninsula from JB -
Ipoh - Alor Setar it seems that after going through your site
I must have missed Malaysia. Come to think of it I do miss Malaysia.
Catch me in Melaka in Sep. I'll continue to catch you in the meantime.
Keep up the treeeeeeeemendous work.
CURE ALL?
Can't cure our biggest problem right now...no water from the taps!
Thanks and see 'ya soon and BYOW (Bring Your Own Water).
Name: ph (Klang - the land

I would say that this is the best malaysian site that I have encountered
so far! A good job indeed in terms of content and presentation.
This is only my second time here (first time was this morning!).
How often do you do updates? -ph 16 apr 98 "I'll be back"
Thanks! Is
the famous "under the tree" Bak Kut Teh stall the best
in Klang? I must go there and check it out with you, as I was
thinking of featuring it in my upcoming FOOD section.
Name: Yusof Ahmad (Klang)
I enjoyed the bhai jokes...Heard this one? What do you call a
Singh who likes to sing hymns and Xmas carols? Hark, hear the
angels sing(h)
How about
Karen Carpenter's "Singh, Singh a song...Singh out loud,
Singh out strong. Singh of good things not bad, Singh of happy
not sad..."
Name: Harjit Singh (3rd Mile

The Bais in Kampong Pandan are looking for you too! Come on over

some drinks together and I'll tell you more jokes.
Thanks and
I don't want to sound ungrateful but just tell me how am I going
to find you at the temple when every other guy there is also a
Singh? E-mail me your pic and your
first name please.
Name: Pauline Williamson (Phoenix,
Arizona)
Hi, I surf on a WebTV so I never get to listen to all those exotic
far-away radio stations your visitors talked about. But one thing
I really found very useful on your site is the Smileys
And CIA page. This may sound silly but until now I never knew
what "HI-FI" or "VHS" stand for!
Now
I know; thanks to you. All the best, Pauline.
Name: SuperZai

Name: rizal (Perak)

opt to food poisoning?
Thanks and I hope you guys do some work
in the office other than reading the National Page. Rizal, tell me something...is menstrual
pain or food poisoning the leading cause of grammatical and spelling
mistakes in Perak?
Name: azah (california)
this is too much! I can't put my mouse down. I stumbled into your
site by accident and I have never laughed so hard. I am coming
back!
Coming back
to this page or to Malaysia? If you're coming back to KL soon,
you won't be laughing so hard...no rain, no water, no bath, no
shave, no brushing teeth, no friends within
50
metres...
Name: Kong Yee Peng (Labuan)
Alamak! To write in your guest book I have to double check the
spelling twice. Otherwise I kena taro like the other guys. Anyway,
it's worth checking twice for I really enjoy visiting your very
funny homepage and reading the roadside response.
Your spelling
pass...BUT you failed miserably in your mathematics, "double
check the spelling twice" is already four times...
Name: Amelia Wong (JB)
For crying out loud Mister, why are you nit picking on all the
spelling mistakes??? You should be happy that these people took
the time to write in and some of them are quite creative and I
like your answers too.

Name: Chris Campbell (Rotorua,

Excellent, if you're ever downunder, try Triple X, in Rotorua,
a radio station, not a sex site! Although you're certainly welcome
to try some of our sheeps. Our Aussie friends do. See ya.
Jeez...you
have a radio station call XXX and your neighbours get on with
sheeps!
Name: James Lembu (malaysia..ipoh)
