| Dear Friends, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and welcome to The Way Website! If you are visiting this page, perhaps you are interested in finding out a little bit about the community/message board for this site. We couldn't be more pleased that you are here. The initial vision for our community is not much different than what it is today. The Way believes, stands by and promotes the one true fact that Jesus is Lord. He lives, He has risen from the dead and He loves YOU! What began very simply with only 2 members in the first week has now become a growing sanctuary of people who are all common in one respect, we are all seeking Jesus. Some have come and ended up giving their lives to Jesus. Some are a bit more mature in their relationship with Jesus and are finding fellowship and growth within our "walls". It's been an amazing thing to see God's work and plan come alive in such a precarious place as the internet can be...what an awesome tool or vehicle to share His love with each other. Our doors are open! It is the desire and the hope of The Way that He would continue to use our community and this website for His ultimate purpose...nothing more and nothing less! So today, as you sit here reading this, we extend our warmest welcome and invitation to you to come and join us. | We seek to offer our members a very positive and friendly environment where one can come and involve themselves in a number of different discussion topics. Here we are free to openly express our thoughts and feelings (be them positive or stemming from a difficult situation) without the feeling of being treated differently, being put down or turned away. We strive to take on a real family atmosphere as we are all unique. The common bond that holds us is the realization that we are all Children of the King no matter how different our lives have been. Our members have come together with a desire to uplift, reach out and bond with each other regardless of whether its your first visit or your one hundred and first! We've become like family! |

| Terms of Agreement *All applicants/members please read these terms thoroughly as they have great bearing on your membership* God the Father, Son (Jesus Christ), Holy Spirit and the Word of God are the ultimate authority on this board. While the Administration has been seated in a position of spiritual authority and responsibility over TWMB (The Way Message Board) we will handle any and all posts and or topics that should suggest any other god or idol be placed above by removing them and possible membership termination could result. No Negativity towards God, other members, or the Administration will be tolerated. No foul language is acceptable including, but not limited to, the universal "four letter words". Taking the Lord's name in vain (OMG) is completely inappropriate and completely disrespectful to God. There is a filter placed on such phrases and members who continually abuse these phrases may be subject to membership termination. No Spamming Please! It's illegal...its annoying...need we say more?! No inappropriate sexual conduct or content! While it is not inconceivable that relationships may flourish in an online setting or that husband/wife teams may join, please remember that it is not acceptable to bring these personal details or any inappropriate sexual topics, comments, suggestions or the like into our community. Keep it clean everybody! The word of God is infallible! No debating the validity of the scriptures, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit or their existence. The Bible tells us we are not to be drawn into conflict through debate of God's word! Futhermore...the Bible isn't open to personal interpretation...it is exactly what it is...the written words spoken from the mouth of God. Let no man take away from or add to what is written! Post/threads/topics can be deleted by the Administration with or without notice or explanation if they are not in concurrence with the direction or message of the board. Questions regarding deleted posts etc. need to be addressed personally by members to the Administration through email contact. Please don't take your issues onto the board. |
| Membership Accountability Please take note that our community does not have or impose a probationary period to new members or inactive long term members. However, it should be stated here that if any member should fall into a period of inactivity of 6 months or more, those inactive members may be deleted from our queue. Members who join a community, such as ours, should understand that this is not just a website for browsing or reading and leaving. It is the maintained position of most message board/community administrators that memberships should result in active and consistent posting. If you pose a question or add a response to a thread or start a new topic, please be prepared to check back on it. Please don't leave topics hanging in mid air waiting for a response. All members should provide the following information in their ezboard profiles. Please provide a first name and have the "Administrator Contact" option checked so that you will be able to receive newsletters and updates regarding your community happenings. Please be kind, considerate and compassionate towards fellow members. Please be honorable in your membership. But most of all...it is our hope and prayer that through God's hand on this community your life would be changed and blessed immeasurably! Welcome aboard! |
