Congratulations to Civil Engineers for winning Grass Roots League 2005/2006

Golden boot awarded to Jaf from Civil Engineers who scored 8 goals in 5 games

The UCL Grass Roots League has now finished but shall return next season. The teams involved in next seasons league are as follows;

• Physics and Astronomy

• Civil Engineers

• Abacus

• Korea

• Islam

• Computer science

The league will not start until after the first two to three weeks of the new term as this is often a transitional period with new players and students. I will set a meeting with the captains for some slight alterations to the league a couple of weeks before the first fixtures.

I have already had one request for a new team next year, however the league will contain only six team and at the moment I see no reason for the existing teams not to continue next year. When I find out when pitches are available I will be contacting each captain to ensure that a team will be playing next year and to make sure that these provisional dates are okay.

Please let me know if your team cannot make any of the dates
(Please take note of cancellations made late in the second term)

Can all captains please let me know the result of fixtures and the goal scorers, preferably by email on Wednesdays.

If for any reason you need to contact me please send me an email. If it is important please call me as I will not be regularly checking this email account over the third term and over summer. The captains should all have my mobile number.
