This project was about giving young people an opportunity to locate themselves together in the community amid the flow of its existence. 6 schools, the Choir of Saint Mary's Cathedral and a young choreographer presented commissions they prepared for performance on June 3rd 2000, at Saint Mary's Cathedral. This was Ms Michelle Bourke's first private dance commission, which was well executed. The Choir, led by Mr Stuart Gray, Organist to Saint Mary's performed choral work arranged by Mr Gray specially for the occasion.

In addition to their work being displayed and performed, a fruiting cherry tree was planted in the grounds of Saint Mary's, following the planting ceremony, fruiting cherry trees were presented to each of the 6 participating schools, Ms Maughan and Mr Hunt for their contributions to the success of the event.

This project was a development of Crossing-Pathway 31.12.99-01.01.00. Preparation had begun during 1999 and was first proposed in April 1999, after the safe return of young Mostaran visitors who had participated in a project I organized for Limerick Civic week 1999.
