Welcome to the St. Patrick's School Celtics homepage! This will be the first season for the students of St. Pat's to have a school team after having played Ultimate in Phys Ed classes and for intramurals for the last couple of years. This year's goals are to produce a Spirited team with strong basic skills and to attend a Juniors tournament in Montreal in May or early June. We went to that tournament at Queen of Angels Academy in Dorval and had a blast! The Celtics had flashy new T-shirts and came ready to play. They had no problem in their first game against a brand new team from Kels Academy. The Celtics had more difficulty in their final two games against mixed teams from St. George's and Queen of Angels who had a lot more experience. However, the Celtics were in those two games all the way. They impressed their coach and they impressed the coach of the other team (who is an international level player). The Celtics played very disciplined Ultimate and showed a firm grasp of the basic skills all day long! Let's hope that Ultimate continues at St. Pat's and the Celtics are able to improve upon their 1 and 2 record. Good luck next year!
