The UNO Cheerleading Squad is strictly a co-ed team (guys base/girls fly). We do not have an all girl squad. We cheer for: We cheer at men's basketball games and women's basketball & volleyball games. During the school year: We practice twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Besides cheering at games, we also perform at pep rallies & other UNO functions. We annually attend the Sunbelt Basketball Conference and travel to some out of town games. |

| Camp We attend UCA college camp over the summer. This year we will attend the UCA camp at Texas State University. Benefits UNO supplies the squad with all equipment and uniforms. The university also covers all travel & meal expenses on university trips. UNO cheerleaders register for school as athletes ahead of the other students and get the classes of their choice. Cheerleaders also receive a stipend at the end of the year for cheering. Yes, we get paid to cheer! |
