| If you enjoy competition, travel, sports, and consider yourself to be an athlete...you might have what it takes to join the UNO Privateer Cheerleading Squad! Download an APPLICATION HERE! Tryout Info: Tryouts consist of a 2 day clinic and a tryout day. It is important that you attend all three clinics to learn material for the tryout. There is a $10 application fee for each participant that will be collected with each application on the first day of clinics. Open practices will be held for additional help. 2007-2008 Tryout Dates: Clinics (held at the Human Performance Center) Thursday, April 19 @ 7:30-9:30pm Friday, April 20 @7:30-9:30pm Tryout (held at the Human Performance Center) Saturday, April 21 @1-3pm OPEN PRACTICES: Monday, March 26 @ 7:30-9pm Monday, April 9 @ 7:30-9pm Monday, April 16 @ 7:30-9pm Requirements: To tryout you must be a UNO student, or plan to attend UNO for the school year that you are trying out for. Please keep in mind that we are a coed squad (guys base/girls fly) & all stunts must be performed as single based stunts. Girls, please bring cheerleading shoes to the clinics and tryout. Each person is required to perform a cheer, dance(girls only), fight song, jump, and stunts(must perform required stunts & 1 various stunt). |
