Golden
boy' De la Hoya
announces retirement
Tue Apr
14, 4:32 pm ET
LOS ANGELES (AFP) – Ten-time boxing world
champion Oscar de la Hoya announced his
retirement from the sport here on Tuesday. The 36-year-old Mexican-American's last bout
was back in December when Filipino Manny
Pacquiao stopped him in the eighth round.
De la Hoya looked a shadow of the boxer that
had accrued 10 world titles in six different
weight classes since he first announced his
great talent by winning an Olympic gold medal at
the 1992 Games in Barcelona. De la Hoya - known as 'The Golden Boy' -
indicated just after he had been battered into
submission by Pacquiao that his powers were
definitely on the wane.
"My heart still wants to fight that's for
sure, but when your physical doesn't respond,
what can you do?" De la Hoya - who started his own boxing
promotion company while he was still active in
the ring - retires with a record of 39 victories
6 defeats with 30 knockouts.

In my previous letter of 14 April 2009 titled "A
Choice Between 'Usman' Or 'Mahdi'
" , I wrote about the changing name of a mental asylum in Bogor
to become Marzuki Mahdi after my temporary work at BAPEPAM security market
development project which at that moment was headed by Mr. Marzuki Usman.
I also wrote in that letter that this Marzuki matters becomes more interesting since in the election
for parliamentary members a few
days ago, according to the quick-count results, the winner is Democrat
party, which secretary-general’s name is Marzuki Alie. The initial of
Marzuki Alie is "M.A." that sounds like "Emma", like related with Rahma
as the Emma for me to help me move out of this world like written in my
letter "Rahm
Emmanuel In The US Congress".
A few hours later came the news about ten-time boxing world champion, 36-year-old
Mexican-American Oscar de la Hoya, announced his retirement from the
sport. His last bout was back in December 2008 when Filipino Emmanuel
Pacquiao, or known as Manny Pacquiao, stopped him in
the eighth round, like I wrote in "Emmanuel
Defeated Oscar, About Rahma As Emma Noel
"

Subject: Geocities Plan To Close
This Year
|
 |
|
A message in my
Yahoo Mail of 23 April 2009 about "4 friends awaiting" for
my response, I immediately reply it to them.
|
|
|
 |
|
My reply at
Facebook to those four friends, mentioning my apology
for not yet be
able to actively involve in Facebook community due
to limited
budget of interneting through internet shop.
|
|
|
 |
A few minutes later when I opened my homepage, there was a
message that Yahoo will close the Geocities service later
this year. |
|
|
23 April 2009 in the morning when I opened my
Yahoo email, I found a message from Facebook informing me that four
people are waiting to be added in 'my-friend' list.
My reply was an apology for not being able to
actively involved in Facebook, because with limited budget I should be
careful in spending my time at the internet shop. Since my first
registering in Facebook on 27 October 2007, like I wrote in "Facebook
Membership and Fourth Goal of Tevez", I never involved in the
friendship network there because I thought it would need much time
besides my limited time in the Internet shop. Considering that I have
been familiar with Geocities, so I should be better concentrate to continue writing in
Geocities about anything related with me that seem endangering to human
being.
A few minutes later after writing such apology
of not involved in Facebook yet, I opened my Geocities homepage,
and there was an announcement that Yahoo will close the Geocities later this
year. Now of course it creates a new problem with me since I should
download many files of mine, and it will take time.
Thank God I just obtained a laptop from my
brother a few weeks
ago. Yet
because it still has no internet connection except by using wi-fi which
only available in certain cafes, I still have to download my homepage
files through
internet shops.

After the news about
ten-time boxing world champion, 36-year-old
Mexican-American Oscar de la Hoya, announced his retirement
from the sport like in the above
letter, a few days later came the news of swine flu outbreak
in Mexico.
I certainly hope it has no connection at
all. Or if there was a message for me, then it could be
about the date the announcement was made by Oscar de la
Hoya, on 14 April 2009. So this swine flu outbreak could be to remind me about
my having to be seriously trying to no longer become a 14, or a single Firman,
instead to marry Rahma as a part of my consent to treat her
as my significant help to move out of this world, for the
good of human being.
