~How Old Is Old~
Date: 1/05/04
The Big *50*
I can hardly believe I hit the big  fifty, time really flys!
I remember when my (dad) was fifty and I thought he was old. I have to admit fifty don't seem so old now that I've arived at that age. But, if anyone asks me if I felt older it wouldn't be a mere' question I would have to think about```
Our bones tell us alot when old man winter sets in, not to mention the fact that when we use to jump out of bed we now crawl out of bed. I'm lucky if I make it to the bathroom without stubbing' my toes, while I ponder for the light switch. And behold if I can see to read without my glasses.
Gradually time passes by day by day, year by year.
But for today I'll be *50* And so passes another year of my life. . .so means another chapter in my life is coming to a close. Looking back is both happy and sad, as feelings stir within my cameraized memory of my soul, with emotions that take its heavy tolls.
OLD FOLKS ARE WORTH A FORTUNE`````
Old folks are worth a fortune: with silver in their hair, gold in their teeth, stones in their kidneys, lead in their feet and gas in their stomaches. I have become more social with the passing of the years; some might even call me a frivolous old gal. As soon as I wake, Will power helps me get out of bed. Then I see John. Next, Charley Horse comes along, and when he is here he takes alot of my time and attention. When he leaves, Arthur Ritis shows up and stays the rest of the day. (He doesn't like to stay in one place very long so he takes me from joint to joint). After such a busy day, I'm really tired and glad to go to bed with Ben Gay. What a life!
