The strategy is pretty simple: burn. Scent of Cinder can give you some good early damage and the Kavu can knock out creatures very effectively so that you can focus your big burns on the opponent. Breaking Point is a beauty, no matter which option they choose they're screwed for it. Squee's Embrace works very well so that I can sacrifice my creatures more than once, especially the Kavu so he can come back and do another four damage. The Dragon is only there for huge damage in case the burns aren't getting the job done. Keep in mind that none of the creatures are meant to stay long. All of them are either sacrificed or killed in a few minutes. Enjoy this deck, it gets my five star rating. The splash of white gives the burn theme a perfect dynamic. Without it this is just a red deck with a bunch of burns. That might get boring. Anyway, a good deck, and very easy to make. ~Urza |
