Encouraging Involvement
The Utah Gerontological Society (UGS) depends
solely upon its members'
involvement to meet its goals. Society activities include an annual two-day
conference, the UGS Annual Meeting, a quarterly
newsletter,
regional networking forums held throughout
the state
and regular committee meetings.
As the region's aging population continues to grow, issues related to this
trend will impact more people of every age group. With the help of our
members and volunteers, we can educate the general public, caregivers,
and professionals on how to facilitate a productive and fulfilling aging
experience.
