Membership Information

Since its founding in 1992, UGS has grown from 100 members in the state of Utah to
nearly 400 members representing Utah, Colorado, Idaho,
New Mexico, and Wyoming. Our membership is open to older adults, multi-discipline professional, businesses working with the aging population, students, and any individual interested in issues related to aging.

Individuals and organizations are encouraged to join the Society
and become involved in furthering the awareness of elderly issues.
Your annual membership dues support activities such as
the annual conference, the Society Annual Meeting,
quarterly newsletters and quarterly regional forums.
UGS membership also includes a quarterly newsletter
providing information about the latest trends in the
gerontological field, updates on topics related to aging,
and the latest legislation that may impact older adults and
the groups that serve them.


Annual Dues

General Membership $ 40.00

Older Adults (65 +) $ 25.00

Students $ 25.00


Additional SCANS Membership (Optional) Includes specific mailing and training events regarding Senior Centers & Nutrition Services:
Addtn’l $5.00 pr/year
