Cycad Easy Base

History

A need was identified in the open software market for a dependable database solution with an Easy to understand user interface keeping track of individual Cycad plants in a given collection.

This need clearly showed that there would be 2 categories of users.

1. Users that would keep track of their personal collections in general with the minimum of effort and complexity of database use. Cycad Easy Base is developed to fullfill this need.

2. Users that would keep track of Collections but which would incapsulate a large quantity of data thus monitoring allmost every aspect of their Cycads growth patterns, Soil composition etc to name but few.

The latter would be more complex in use but would be an efficient research tool for the dedicated researcher or advanced collector. This package is due for release in November 2001.

It is importand to note that both packages where designed with the intention to continueasly evolving based on user inputs and reports. Every user's input would be valued greatly and we encourage you the user to voice your opinions and comments which in turn would be reflected in the udates released.

Cycad Easy Base is  Freeware. The product can be downloaded from this site for free and the user is licenced to freely redistribute the package without any modification to anyone in any manner as long as the package is supplied for free.
