It was just like every other day in Port Lethora. The usual hustle and bustle of people traveling doing what they do was apparent to any that actually payed much attention to the city. Little did they know what was to come once night fell. Usually the stories and nightmares of old were enough to make those bumps in the night a little bit more scary. Unfortunately for them, this was more than just your typical tale... Katrah had been watching over the building carefully, this one known as Divine Slaves. Something about it wasn't right and she could feel the darkness and evil swelling within the pit of the ground beneath it. Little did the patrons know that those evil intruders that would come in and those that were also of the same alignment that are members were being fed on.. drawing in the essence of their anger and hatred.. Kyshietahla might have been one of the most effected by this occurance.. her constant anger, hatred and disgust was really a slowly growing thing.. before which she would never have thought to argue and fight with her mate. Katrah often thought this was the cause of all the sudden fights and random attacks that would occur throughout the building as the strange creature trapped beneath would use it all to grow stronger.. but ofcourse, there is only so much you can take in without releasing. It was then, the day 21 June 2003, that the 'volcano' of the creature would errupt. A powerful expulsion of all that which it had held coupled with what powers it had to start with would mix and surge up and outwards about the entire building in a magical shockwave in its attempt at escape. Success wasn't hard to get in this instance though despite that fact, Katrah was ready.. having been waiting for this moment to occur as she to rested dormant to gather her strength.. bound and contained the creature remained though unfortunately the release had only set off a chain reaction in the mage shop. All the boxes and crates that had been stacked in there, unpacked, would be the demise of the building as the severe earthquake like shockwave ruptures the items contained there and in the fluids mixture, it all exploded.. the chain reaction only spreading throughout the building as then the items in the kitchen follow suit leaving nothing standing but the foundation. Once the creature was bound, she made her way throughout the building to pull out the bodies, healing and ressurecting any that had need of it as long as the soul didn't fight it's return. Though as most of the furres started to wake that were of supernatural origins, many found that they were not the same as they were when the shockwave went through, whether for good or ill... Six months later, Vale of the Untamed was constructed in the same place. Magically reinforced and built with the previous mistakes in mind to make it much sturdier and protected from offensive attacks. A drow male, Ryldirahc Kenath, pulled into slavery to serve as Kyshietahla's guardian and servant guards the front doors from unwanteds. [[OOC SIDE NOTE]] Players are encouraged to play along with this if they were members of Divine Slaves even if they were not present at the time though as always the choice is really up to you. The shockwave would effect all supernatural creatures.. Normal furres would only think the explosion was spontaneous combustion rather that actually being caused by something that the supernaturals would have been well aware of unfortunately only a few moments before it happened. Because of the magical shockwave that errupted, any supernatural creatures would have changed in some way.. the choice of how is up to you as well as if you really even want to acknowledge this Since the buildings construction, the Lady Dragoness Kyshietahla has been laid to rest, or so we think. Finally having the peace she had sought for so long, Katrah and she having joined one another again in the umbra. |
