VotU is a Medieval time frame club.
Clothing, items and characters will adhere to this setting.
This is an ADULT guild, 18+ only! There is no rule that states there can be no public show of affection, teasing or yiffing.. HOWEVER.. if someone ICly requests to take it elsewhere it is expected to be respected and to go to the orgy room or a private room. If those that are asked to leave do not do so then it must be handled ICly as it is not an OOC matter.
If you are here just for the purpose of yiffing, go elsewhere.
Real names are required.. no numbers or symbols will be permitted and no titles such as 'Sexy Yiff Chick'
Descriptions must be as detailed as possible giving a DESCRIPTION of what your character looks like, not history, or what your character likes and dislikes. Feelings and emotions are irrelevant in descriptions, as role-play will show what your characters personality is. If you require assistance in creating a description then whisper one of the staff and we will see what we can do.
No characters under 16 years of age without parent or guardian.
No humans. They do not and have never existed in this world.
NO CARTOON/MOVIE/COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS OR NAMES!
We understand that sometimes things happen to you ic or ooc that effect your feelings about other members. However if, for example, you and an ex are both members of the dream, we will not kick, temp ban, ban, or even just remove membership for either one of the affected parties just because you have irl issues with each other
We appreciate all input on flaws in the dream or our rules, we also accept any suggestions on how to change or improve the dream. However we do reserve the right to refuse any request for change, and will review and make changes in our own time, due to our own lives and the fact that we cannot change the world over night
If there is a large number of people in the dream I do not want to see people idling and chatting in the lobby. As members I am sure you all want to enjoy yourselves and see the dream work. If no one tries to push the RP then none will happen and will have people complaining. I don't want to hear any complaining from those that don't try first. I will give warning first however I have no problems ejecting people idling in the lobby. The OOC room is there for a purpose, if you don't want to RP, use it and not the lobby. Admin's OOC chars are the only ones omitted from this rule.
Netspeak will not be permitted under any circumstances. u, r & k are letters and 2 & 4 are numbers... do not use them as words.
An admin or shared member must be present during a fight if you want a fair mediator to prevent any twinkishness that slips by during the interview. Disregarding this will give no leverage to complain if something does happen that you don't agree with.

Weapons, armor and some magic items will not be permitted inside the dream unless purchased within it and must be recorded onto your profile by an admin of the purchase.
There is a ward against offensive spells while within the building. Arena and outside areas are not affected by this
OOC is to be kept to a minimum.
Questions pertaining to the rp at hand are permitted though excessiveness is unwarranted. If OOC is used at all, it *will* be put in [], {} or ().
When membership is granted, alts ARE allowed.. though the initial member needs to tell Kyshietahla the other alt names. They may NOT, however, interact with eachother or even know the other exists!
There is to be no fighting in the bar area.
If a 'brawl' does break out during RP, the staff are encouraged to ICly direct it to the arena however it does not have to go there if properly played out. This *will* be handled in an IC fashion.
Rape is *not* permitted within Vale of the Untamed, period! If two players want to engage in this particular type of RP, it better be in private. If by chance it does occur, there also better be OOC consent to it. A lot of people are very touchy about these things and we want to keep the dream a friendly environment, free of these kind of issues. This is also included to conversation of rape OOCly, don't do it!
Playing, teasing, cuddling and kissing are all permitted within public areas however please move to a private room or into whispers if it goes further than that.
Logs of any and all situations that occur that are thought of as unsuitable to players or staff should be sent to ValeUntamed@hotmail.com and davydael@aol.com to be dealt with. Without a log, no bans will take place.
Members will be checked, evaluated and graded constantly by staff members and teachers. Should it be recommended, we have the authority to call in for a second interview. Under no circumstances are you to argue about any issue regarding the interview process. We have had others in the past say we are harsh, tis the only way to weed out the field of Newbies and twinks. Thus we establish a mature Role-playing setting.
IRL nationalities do NOT exist in Furcadia. Therefore, they don't exist in Vale of the Untamed either. However, the Furc website will tell you the equivelant translation of the country if they have considered it.
Members are ENCOURAGED to bring friends into the dream as guests. They will not be required to gain membership when in the company of the member who is vouching for them, but we reqeeust that repeat guests apply for membership after three visits as the process only takes 10 minutes or so at the most and there are many admins who are happy to assist in speading it up.
Failure to meet any of the stated requirements
will result in consequential action.
(1) First will be a warning
(2) Second would be a banning for 24 hours
(3) Third would be a banning for a week then when you return you shall be placed on a 10 day probation period.
(4) There is no forth warning, after the third your blacklisted, meaning permanently banned from the dream.
Probation Period
During a probation period your character will be watched constantly, and notes will be made of behavior IC and OOC, a final interview would be conducted at the end of the probation period, then if all went well you would be left on the list, If something went wrong or you had even ONE complaint, your alts and characters will be banned.
Firstly, you need to read over the website to understand the rules.
Secondly, if you are still interested in becoming a member, find an admin personnel, listed here, and give them a detailed RP post so they may permit entry.
Thirdly, the admin you submit your roleplay post to will need the answers to the questions below so they can implement it onto your personal profile on the bot. Please fit them all in one whisper.
How old is your character?
What items are you carrying?
What Ethos (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic)?
What alignment (Evil, Neutral, Good)?
What species?
Alternate characters you seek membership for?
If slave, owned by?
If Slaver, who do you own?
How did you find out about us?
These are just some questions they might ask to give a forewarning so you might be prepared for them.

Lastly, plan to come around VotU often because I, Kyshietahla, don't want to waste my time dealing with memberships of people that only want to have a look around then leave. If you want to get a feel for the dream before acquiring membership, use the request option on the bot to get an admins attention if one is not present and request a 'guest' pass. This will give you 24 hours to make your decision.
After membership is granted, please add the tag [VotU] to your description so the staff know that you are a member and can let you in if the bot is down, Thanks.
**Notice** If you are in the dream on a guest pass, do not cause any trouble in or out of character. Do not get into any fights. All weapons and armor are nullified. Getting guest pass to get at one of the members seeking sanctuary within to kill or otherwise injure them will be null and void and you will be banned permanently.
**Important Notice**
Memberships will be deleted after 30 days. If you plan to be away for awhile let me, Kyshietahla, know so I can flag you on the bot so you don't get deleted.
