Back to Fighting Styles
There are actually 2 styles that Aoshi Shinomori uses in the series.  When he was first introduced, he used only one kodachi against Kenshin.  The sword in that style was only to be used for defense purposes, and used Kempo for his attacking.  Although the style seemed invincible and hard to figure out, Kenshin found a weakness to it and defeated him.  After realizing that his style had a weakness, he developed the Double Kodachi style.  This style is great for both defense and offense.  The advantage is that he will always have a free hand for attacking or defending.

The Attacks:

Ososugi de Ogoki:  Not really an attack, but rather an illusion.  The user circles around his opponent so fast that it looks like there's more than one of the person.  Obviously there is only one person moving really fast.

Kaiten Kenbu:  The user spins 3 times at high speed, slashing 3 times to the opponent's chest.

Goku Juuji,(Give Vast Cross):  A pretty cool and actually pretty clever attack.  The user runs really fast at the opponent and comes from under the opponent to his neck.  Then the user makes his 2 kodachis look like scissors and cuts the opponent's neck.

Onmyou Hasshi,(Yin Yang Jump Stop):  A very useful move if done correctly.  It does well against opponent's with slow reaction and/or the opponent is out of reach.  The user throws one kodachi at the opponent.  A split second after he throws the first one, he throws the second one right behind the first.  This makes it look like there's only one kodachi being thrown, and once the first one is blocked or deflected, the second will hit for sure.

Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren,(Spin Heaven Sword Dance 6 Series):  The succession technique of the double kodachi style.  The user flips the 2 kodachis, holding them back-handed.  Then, the user runs really fast at the opponent and slashes the opponent 6 times simultaneously,(at the same time).  An advantage to this attack is that you can start with either hand.  This makes the opponent have to think twice and also be twice as cautios to defend against it, or it's the end of his/her life.
