| What is a Coach? Put simply, someone who helps you get where you want to go…faster and easier. A life coach is your partner in excellence. Why Hire A Coach? People generally come to a coach for a variety of reasons, but usually they need to solve a problem, make a decision, or make some kind of change in their lives. Typically clients want to: · Set long and short-term goals · Develop an action plan to meet those goals · Identify cash flow needs and sources of income · Improve communication skills · Attain goals with less effort The Process of Coaching The process of life coaching is flexible and fluid to meet the unique needs of the individual or couple. This process includes: · Discovering, confirming, and validating what is important to you · Identifying what works and does not work in your life · Assessing where you currently are in your “life picture” · Determining where you want to be · Performing a gap analysis; including issues and underlying influences · Creating a firm, yet flexible plan to achieve specific goals · Monitoring and validating your progress Your individual plan may usually be facilitated through a relatively short series of one-on-one meetings and simple practices either in person or over the phone. Together we will design a coaching arrangement that best meets your needs and schedule. · An initial two-hour session to create a coaching strategy. (Accomplished in person or by phone.) · One or two planning sessions. · Regular, on-going coaching sessions. (Usually a mix of in person and by phone.) How Do We Begin?
