...… Merry Meet! We were handfasted / married, on Saturday, June 5th 1999, at Eastern Cemetery (We both find that the cemetery or a graveyard to be a place of peace and calming serenity) in the state of Indiana.  It was rather a tricky because Silver's parent are "extremely" EXTREMELY hardcore, but we wanted them there, so we had to sort of work things around so that we had little bit of a modified  Handfasting, butso that it seemed ok to them too......they just though we were really wired...most people do.......LOL

I held two Calla Lilly’s surrounded by small black baby’s breath flowers and several small black Rose buds.

It was a very intimate ceremony and very informal! Besides the two of them, there was one of her three sons, his parents, a niece (she just happened o be their that day, as we didn't tell his parents until the night before) and a circuit court clerk, to make it all legal....

The whole affair took probably all of 10 minutes. Although it was an extremely short ceremony, it had immense meaning for us, as we had written our own vows. The Broom was placed behind us and when pronounced “husband and wife” we turned, my son bound our hands together, and we jumped over the broom from the world where we lived separate lives, over to their new world, where our lives are one.
