ORIGINAL SIN? IT WASN'T SEX!
The old testament tells that as long as Adam & Eve obeyed and stayed at a servitude level, all things would be provided for them. there was certain knowledge they were not to try and obtain. Those forbidden forms of knowledge are symbolized in the story as as two trees, the tree of knowledge and the tree of life. The "Tree of Knowledge" well ever notice how throughout the bible the word "knowing" is used for sexual activity; and Adam "knew" his wife Eve and begat....man was not originally meant to procreate (I can hear you saying, "oh no the bible says"....I KNOW what the current version of the bible says)! The "Tree Of Life" represents the spiritual side. Human kind was also not meant to achieve the spirituality of his creator, the immortality of reincarnation of the spirit:
"And the lord said, Look, the man has become as one of us, knowing good from evil: and now, what if he put forth his hand, and takes also from the Tree Of Life, and eats, and lives forever?"

ANGELS
The Hebrew word for angel is mal'ak, which means to dispatch as a deputy; messenger; ambassador. The Greek word for angel is aggelos, which means to bring tidings; a messenger. The word angel is used, in one form or another, 198 times in the Bible. Common angels are real personal beings with personal bodies and personal souls including feelings, emotions, passions and desires as well as personal spirits including all intellectual powers as we know them.
In Hebrews 1:13-14 we find the following: 13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Reading down a little further we find Hebrews 2:7 which says: Thou madest him (man) a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over thy works of thy hand:...
Angels can be visible or invisible, depending on what their particular mission happens to be, at any given time. Invisible things are made up of material substance which is visible in it's own realm. Created things, including spirit beings such as angels, cherubim, seraphim, etc. are all of material substance. Some substances are of a higher order than others. Though all are visible in their own realms, some may not be visible to others of lower realms. Spirit beings are of a higher substance than flesh and blood beings and ordinary material that we see. They are not limited to ordinary substance as we know it, because they can go through closed doors, walls, and other solid objects. This is proved by what is recorded in Scripture of angels and others. Even the material, spiritual, and immortalized body of Jesus, a real flesh and bone body (Luke 24:39) can go through material walls without an opening (John 20:19; Luke 24:31, 35-43).
An angel can manifest himself in all his God given glory or he can appear as a mere mortal (or not at all) depending on what he is sent to do. It is evident that angels can and do appear in the form of a man as stated in Hebrews 13:2 which says ...Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Angels are not naked babies with feeble little rudimentary wing stubs as depicted in Catholic art, or the ceramic figurines that you see at your local gift shop. Angels are mighty beings of large stature as shown in Thessalonians 1:7-8; 7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. "In flaming fire taking vengeance"? That doesn't sound much like the act of a naked baby.
Angels Don't have wings! That's right, they don't have any wings. Of the 90 scriptural references to the words WING, WINGS and WINGED, 45 of them specifically refer to cherubim. The rest refer to: God, Seraphims, animals, eagles, turtle doves, doves, fowl, peacocks, ostriches, hawks, wind, morning, riches, shadow, Moab, Bozrah, lions, leopards, two women, woman, sun, hens, beasts and locusts. None refer to angels.
There are some other interesting things about angels that are worth mentioning. They are not necessarily supported by scripture nor denied by it; they are simply experiences, etc. that people have had. NOTE: The Bible doesn't list everything there is to know about angels, but it does give a good example of what angels are like.
Angels are always in a hurry. They have places to go and things to do and they don't waste any time doing it. This can be seen in a number of scriptures. For example: Acts 12:7- And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. There are many other indications that angels go about their business, without delay. And, if God told them to wait somewhere, they would even be waiting in a hurry.
In all recorded instances where it is strongly suspected* that an angel has intervened in human affairs, the angel in question is always very tall; over six feet. Not tiny little babies.
They have a tendency to vanish once their mission is accomplished; they don't hang around and they don't care to be thanked. And they certainly refuse to be worshipped, in any way, shape, or form. Revelation 22:8-9 says: 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. 9Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
They travel at inconceivable speeds. An angel can literally witness someone shoot a gun at you, go to heaven, ask God what he should do, and return in time to catch the bullet if need be.
They don't talk much. They say
what they came to say and that's it. They don't engage in long winded
conversations, or small talk. (And they don't boast about being an angle or show
off their powers). They stick to the business at hand and no more.
Another thing that angels are often confused with is cherubim (or cherub), but a cherub is a whole new creature entirely. A good description of a cherub can be found in Ezekiel 1:5-28. There are 42 attributes listed in Ezekiel that describe a cherub.

WAS "JESUS" REALLY HIS NAME?
It is fairly well agreed that the name "Jesus" is the English rendition of IEsous, which is the Greek rendition of the Hebrew "Joshua" or "Yehoshua," meaning "Yahweh saves."2 (To avoid any confusion, we shall use "J" here to refer to "Jesus.") However, scholarly literature seems to be devoid of any discussion of the scriptural evidence indicating that J's name may not originally have been Jesus or Joshua. The question should have risen immediately upon realizing how strong the evidence is that soteriology is not a teaching originated by J.3 To the same extent that soteriology is to be questioned as having been an authentic part of J's teachings, the soteriological name "Jesus" should likewise be questioned as having been J's original name. As explained in the Gospel of Matthew (Mt 1:21), by the time it was written the name was meant to be interpreted with the view that God or J will save his people from their sins. Thus the name came to embrace the concept of soteriology.
DECEMBER 25TH IS NOT HIS BIRTH DATE
The December 25th celebration of Christmas was instituted by the Catholic Church. Christmas originated from a pagan festival that celebrated the winter solstice. The winter solstice marked the first day the sun seemed to intensify. So from the winter solstice onward, as the nights became shorter and the day longer, pagans would have grand ceremonies in honor of the sun . The worship of the sun was customary in ancient Rome. The Catholic Church adopted Emperor Constantine’s suggestion that pagan customs be Christianized, to allow ease of conversion to pagan converts, i.e., making them feel “at home” as Christians. Pagans regarded Christ as the great sun of the human spirit, so they chose December 25th to celebrate Jesus’ birth.

1. Jesus did not want to form a new religion. Sheesh! Most folks can't even remember the fact that Jesus was Jewish, let alone not a cult leader. Christianity was not founded until after his death, hence the name. All of his teachings and parables and lessons were created to try and get Judaism back to the peaceful laws of god. Unfortunately, most wankers still are under the impression Jesus actually started Christianity.
2. The Immaculate Conception Refers To Mary's Birth Not Jesus'. Despite the beleif of an idea like the Immaculate Conception, you would be surprised how many boobs actually believe that it refers to Jesus (including myself at one time).It actually refers to the fact that Mary was born without sin. As for the dumb notion that Mary never had sex, wrong again. There are several gospels that document Jesus' brothers and sisters including several mentions of a brother James.
3. Jesus was a Moses rip-off. Whether you believe the gospels to be fact, fiction, or carefully spun half-truths, there are certain historical facts about them. One of the most important is that each author had his own take on the Messiah. Mark in particular was writing for an audience that was very well versed in Judaism and the stories of the Old Testament. Knowing this, Mark did what any movie mogul of our time would do and simply rehashed many of the important stories of the Old Testament. Moses had the Ten Commandments, Jesus had the Beatitudes. Moses was saved from being killed at birth by Pharaoh, Jesus was saved from being killed at birth by Herod. Rameses ordered the death of the first born male child of Israel. Herod ordered the death of all male children in Bethlehem. Moses parted the red sea. Jesus walked on water. If Jesus came back to earth, his PR people would bill him as a Moses for a New Millennium.
4. Nobody Knows What Jesus Did Between The Ages of 12-33. The bible is amazingly circumspect in that it glosses over a huge chapter in Jesus' life - his formative teenage and young adult years. What did he do? Did he follow the dead around? Smoke Grass? A couple of scholars have even gone so far as to say he traveled east and studied Buddhism. There have been several books written on this theory and the only proof against it so far has been the screaming and yelling "NEVER!" from Christians who could not bear with the idea of the Messiah being an eastern-influenced philosopher. Were this proven true, it certainly would piss off the purists who tirade against Pokemon as unchristian.
5. The Bible is the Abridged Version. There have been close to fifty versions or translations of the bible throughout history and there are actual large volumes of gospels that were omitted from the ultra-popular King James version. Essentially, as soon as someone found a disparity, which was invariably, they would excise a chapter that didn't agree with their version of Christianity. This led to the formation of God's Beatles - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John - whose gospels were chosen as the definitive volumes.
6. That God is the only God. This one is my
favorite because it's used to denounce other religions. These people are
naive, foolish and misinformed thinking the Christian god is the only god! Actually, most of the early Jews
and Christians didn't believe their god was the only God, they just thought
theirs was better, much like a Japanese car owner prefers Toyotas over Fords.
Heck, even the Holy Trinity is a well disguised form of
polytheism. The creation of the trinity was a turn-the-tables,
we'll-steal-your-platform-from-under-your-noses-and-
disguise-it-as-ours,
maneuver that would make a political strategist salivate.
More stuff to think about......
The Elohiym:
Genesis 1:26.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them
have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth.
If
the Elohiym made man in their image and their likeness, then an Elohiym must
have a body a head, arms, legs, nad other similar parts to men.
How close that similarity is can not be determined here but is made more
clear in the descriptions of John in the Revelations
Yhovah
declared that man had reached a level so close to the level of the Elohiym that
he must be prevented from becoming an eternal being:
Genesis 3:22.
And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know
good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of
life, and eat, and live for ever:
The word religion appears only 4 times
in the Bible, three of those times in direct reference to the religion of the
Jews. The one time it refers to
religion in general is in this verse:
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Why did God require Jesus' sacrifice? God is omnipotent, he could have removed this requirement. If he can't be in the presence of sin, then he could remove it. All through the Old Testament, God tells the Israelites that they are special, above all other nations. Jesus first says, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" before changing his mind to heal a sick Canaanite. (Matthew 15:22-28) How do we know that Jesus' message was meant for all people, as opposed to just the Jews?
The New Testament is to away with the harshness of the Old Testament, this means instead of an eye for an eye, turn the other cheek and love thy neighbor. So how come the sole reason for such hatred of homosexuals come from the Old Testament?
How come there is NO mention one way or another concerning lesbianism in the Bible?
Why were there animal sacrifices in the Old Testament? For what possible reason does God being all powerful and omnipotent, need to have an animal killed in his name? We are told that there needed to be blood spilled to pay for our sins....why? For that matter, why did Christ need to die for our sins? On this point, none of it makes sense!

WHAT WOULD JESUS REALLY DO IF HE WERE HERE TODAY?
March at the front of a gay rights parade.
Lead a boycott of companies that enjoy double-digit profit margins, but still lay off workers to boost profits.
Publicly chastise politicians who invoke His name and then vote to cut welfare.
Not own a gun.
Refuse to play golf at a club that excludes people based on their religion, race or income.
Just hand the ball to the ref after a touchdown, then quietly jog back to the sideline.
Not sell His house when a family of a different race moved into the neighborhood.
Chastise for-profit hospitals and HMOs for taking money that could be spent on health care for the sick, and instead keeping it as profit for stockholders
Have nothing to do with companies whose products kill people.
Use His carpentry skills to build homes for the homeless, not fancy new sanctuaries for well-to-do congregations.
Protest an execution.
Inform thousands of pro athletes and politicians that He really doesn't prefer them over their competition.
Point out that "conservative" and "Christian" are mutually exclusive.
Walk a picket line.
Think about it...REALLY think about it!
